No. They are not replaceable . My wife and I both use it for 15 minutes each day and have been using it for about 5 months now with no problems.

Yes, you can record with only the front camera hooked up. I believe it has options in the menu for the length of clip. I have given the camera to my nephew so I can't check on that. The amount of files before it begins to overwrite depends on card size.

sadly a garbage product that is NOT ready for release. Had my hope on this mini bodycam cos it is featured as 4K WiFi and small etc but when you want to record videos, that’s where it fails ! The RoadCam app is a junk because the moment you connect to WiFi to play any recorded videos it automatically keeps recording videos . Now you have to go though the junk app to delete the unwanted recordings . The WiFi app is supposed to be used only to play recorded videos . The wifi app is also terrible with ES or image stabilization not existent because when you check on the ES and go back to see if it is turned on it shows ES off . The worst part is the camera buttons . It only has two tiny buttons and one power and the next is for everything else sucha s record, stop play wifi etc which is a problem . You won't know if you try to record or try to stop or trying to turn on wifi and you are supposed to see a tiny bluelight to make sure if is recording or on wifi which you won't see out in the day light. It also has useless brightflashing light that you will mistakenly turn on which is annoying and draws unwanted negative reaction. Sometimes when I go out and come back home to see the recorded videos , there is no videos it recorded . What was the purpose of the camera if it didn’t record ? You are supposed to see a tiny blue light which you won’t see during the daylight in bright day. They should have separate buttons for wifi . They should fix, add bigger couple of more buttons the on camera and come up with a new wifi working WiFi app .

Yeah, it's too bad really because if they had done this well I think it would have been a winner for them. I am sending this one back. I really love the simplicity of the old W1. If they could fix the delay from when you switch recording on to when it actually start recording and add some kind of recording indicator on top of the camera it would be awesome. I hate doing negative reviews but people need to know exactly what they would be getting.

Great review. Exactly my thoughts on the summarization of the BOBLOV F5. Now having had two that both didn't work as expected. The colors on your F5 looked way better than that on my two dysfunctional F5's. Overall the video sharpness is good, but is weighed down by all of the negatives, such as a broken and buggy RoadCam app that can't connect to the camera to adjust settings.

Thanks! I always think of more I could have mentioned but I covered the important things. I did notice that we were not the only ones with complaints. I saw on the Facebook page for Boblov folks having the same issues with the app. They should have known better than to release it like that. The roadcam app had problems before they tried too get it to work for this, it only had 1.5 star rating. I wish these body cam places would just stick to simple cameras with 1080p, decent battery life and nice stabilization. That would make it perfect.

There is no ink. It is a thermal printer. I think there is a re set hole but I have never had any problem even when shooting video. I still love this camera.

Mine recorded continuous footage for 1 hour or longer (as one file) until about two months ago. Then it started chopping continuous recording into segments of random lengths. I can't figure out how the settings changed or how to go back to my old settings of over a year. Same 64 G SD cards, same everything, but it's not recording in one file any more. I've no editing program to join all the short files into one long one. Making me so frustrated to the point I'm tempted to throw away the camcorder! Nothing in the manual I can find about recording one continuous shot that the camera splits up into random lengths. A one hour video (that SEEMS to be recording as one file) ends up being for example 8 files of 2 minutes to 17 minutes each. Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it? I've changed every setting now multiple times, tried new SD card, more. The SD card memory is big enough, the cards were formatted on the camcorder, the battery is fully charged, it hasn't been dropped or mistreated.

If you have a 32 MB card it can only record 4 mb files. so a larger card should not split it up like that.

Thank you for your kind replies. I didn't expect a reply from the channel creator. 😊 The issue happens with a 64 or 128 SD card in the camcorder, in MP4 and AVCHD mode. I've been trying different settings the past few days, so I'll see if the other settings have worked. The camcorder worked so wonderfully well until it just didn't. 🤔

After having the BOBLOV W1 for about a year now, it is such an impressive little camera with a pure focus on image quality. the SONY IMX307 is amazing! Such an excellent product. There is no simpler use case with the ease of use. Power the camera on, Starts recording, Power off, stops! Ultra Ultra reliable, Also very good in Low Light. FANTASTIC product design. Quick tip, swap out the back clip for a small super strong bar magnet attached with double sided tape. Instant fix to now attach to near any metal surface, or make an instant wearable on a shirt.

Yes, for sure. I love mine. I am testing the new F5 now which is similar with 4k and image stabilization. So far I think I still like the W1 better. I will do more testing before my review. I like your magnet idea. I was thinking of putting a 1/4 20 bolt on the bottom of mine so I could tripod mount it or use it on my magnetic chest cam mount.

@@CharestStudios The W1 is near perfect for the size and simplicity. Just finished trying the new BOBLOV F5 4K camera with a SONY IMX335 for the a full test of features indoors/outdoors, it's no where near as good as the cheaper W1. In lower light the entire image is all smeared and has no details, at any of resolution setting. Also can't capture correct colors, so night use would be near impossible. The W1 still wins in audio quality and image sharpness. BOBLOV sent me an exclusive new firmware for the F5, still no EIS. The color depth issue is the final deal breaker for this new camera. It can't capture hues or colors correctly, seems to be 8-bit dithered at best. W1 is true 24 bit color.

The only way this was better than the W1 was slightly better battery life and no delay after hitting record but with all the other shortcomings I still much prefer the W1. I am putting my review together today. I hate to leave negative reviews but just calling it as it is.

@@CharestStudios Glad hear that your F5 is also having the EIS issues, it's a defect or missing feature. Since the new firmware was installed the live preview now only shows a black screen. The camera is near useless now with Wifi and a broken preview.

I am not sure but I think so. As long as it fits and it is made for thermal prints it should work fine. I still have fun with this camera. The prints do fade out fairly quickly which is the case for these type of prints, but you also still have the digital file too.

You will probably have to set it up for him and then he can just shoot and it will print as soon as he takes the shot or you can choose to print later depending on which buttons you push. It's pretty simple once your familiar with it. Hope you both enjoy it.

I love your videos. See if the basil was growing slower due to Wifi or see if anything like a tower is in it's path. We have noticed we have vegetation being affected by the towers we have that have been installed. All of our trees are losing leaves in the middle of the trees. Wish all is well.

Hello. Thanks! Glad you enjoy the videos. I have not noticed it growing slower. I have a new one going now in the same spot. I am going to start turning off my Wi-Fi at night to try to reduce overall exposure and save on electricity a bit. I was doing this and for some reason I got out of the habit of turning it off. As far as towers we have one a couple of miles away. Sorry you are noticing effects on your plants. It’s concerning for sure be at they are rolling out this 5g and I am sure we will have even more emf from that I believe.

Thank you for putting the effort into this video and the info. I like the foil idea. I would use a second container and put the whole thing in side that one so the foil is layered in between. Better yet get a second container and paint it. Only thing is that the new sprouts have better nutritional value than older shoots. The stalks are getting tougher and tougher as they grow.

@@CharestStudios Yeah I think I will do this and not just a large planter with dirt. I will have that one in the kitchen and a food container one like yours in my room. I will spray paint the second outer contain completely inside and out. Rustoleum has a spray paint that is made for plastic and is uv resistant plus uv protectant, meaning it won't let light (the UV part of the light that helps algae grow) pass through. There are several, but the one that is made for plastic patio furniture will do the trick. Silver I think, so that it will reflect light.

Even tho, as i have already point out that, new sprouts are more tender and have more nutritional value, that does not mean the older stocks are not nutritious and are still a great source. This video adds the great foil and container use. Gives me ideas to further implement.

Yes, me too. I did see a W2 that looked similar. It was a bit bigger and had infrared lights for night time. I may try it someday. For now the W1 is my favorite and the one I carry with me most of the time. If the W2 has a bigger battery and better clip it might be what we are hoping for. I just hope they kept the same lens, sensor and mic as the W1.

How do you view what you've recorded and is there any formatting required or did you just need to charge it and then it was good to start recording? I bought two cameras online to use tomorrow and I'm not tech savvy 😅

To view what you recorded you can either take the card out and put it into the computer or phone dongle or plug the camera into the computer with the cord. please note there is a slight delay from when you turn on the recording button until it actually starts recording. There is a 1-2 second delay on mine. It is still one of my favorite little cameras because it is so small simple and light weight. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do.
