Many thanks Tahir, your video is very clear and very helpful to fix the issue on our 220i 2014. It turned out no need to replace the oil level sensor. Issue was due to battery jump start. Just scan and programing fixed the issue.

u are actually my saviour. we’re renting an air bnb and it and this faucet and we were 6 people using 1 shower for 2 days since they all had this faucet except the 1 😂

Maybe disconnect your car battery for few minutes, connect back, clear codes and see if the problem persists.

I was at an Airbnb and reached there around midnight after driving all day long, needed a hot shower before going to bed but the owner slept by that time. So took me few minutes to scratch my head and figured out 😅

You were correct on your first guess, the component on the copper foil is a diode! I was looking for a teardown video like this so I can look into making my own reflectors for my backpack and hiking gear! Had similar problem... In my situation some wires to the fuse box in the engine compartment were damaged. Reconnected the wires and system worked after a rescan
