Yea our trees were doing the stanky leg for a good 10 to 15 mins. Wild stuff last night. All the hail was golf ball maximum. Most was pea to quarter tho. Southside okc.

I've seen 118mph straight line winds in Kansas and it's no joke. Very destructive

Yep I stayed up last night even though I had to work this morning just in case it got too crazy. Luckily only lost a couple plants in the front yard

What's with this "landspout" terminology from everyone all of the sudden. Feel like I've only ever hear tornados called waterspouts when they're over water.... Isn''t that just an EF0 tornado?
@trashcompactorYT8 күн бұрын
A landspout isn’t caused by a supercell, just like a waterspout isn’t caused by a supercell (typically). A landspout is basically a fair weather waterspout but over land. They’re like close cousins of tornadoes. A tornadic waterspout is just a tornado, as is a tornadic landspout, which you would just call a tornado. The only difference is for some reason people assign the term waterspout to all tornadoes over water, and not just true waterspouts

Yes, tornadoes happen in Wyoming too. It's been going on for thousands of years.
