DAMN now it’s 2024 and all the power trains on the buses are EPA standard and Cummins based. No more Detroit Diesel It’s crazy to think they’ve gotten so much quieter and fuel efficient but, I prefer these old beasts to any Novabus LFS or New Flyer XN40 especially those Battery buses (rather have more trolley buses). Great upload very nostalgic and a fun trip back to the past!

You'll never be able to convince me that this wasn't the best bus ever built. I enjoyed every single ride I took on one in Halifax as a youth. I sorely miss them, and new stuff just isn't the same.

Cool video! OC Transpo has a lot of D60LFs as well since i was in Ottawa in 1998. The new version came out in 2001 and the really new version came out in 2008.

When I was a little kid, an Operator on Route 210, opened the door while on the freeway and told me that if I got anywhere near the door, he'd close it. One of the memories that made me into the transit geek I am today.
