Hey, just found your channel and it looks really cool ! Just wanted to say that you could try editing your videos to be shorter, that would attract more people since most people would not watch an hour long video of someone new they found. I can tell that would attract a lot of people. You could edit out a lot and make it like 10-25 minutes and people would watch it. Hope you do well on YT !

Hey, I'm glad you like it! I think you're right. In my next series, I'm going to try and keep the episodes to about half-an-hour. It was kinda hard with this series as I was having such a fun time that I lost track of time.

@@PastryDevelops Yeah this game is really fun to play, its one of my favorites ! I don't mean to intrude or anything, I watch a lot of like upcoming youtubers and I've noticed usually 10-20 minute videos get so much more views than 45 min to 1 hour long videos. Generally because people r willing to click on the first one to give the channel a try but not the 2nd one since a lot of people also watch yt while eating or during break for 20-30 min

One of my experiment plans was to use Morgott's Great Rune, but then I realized I would need to redo every single case with it activated. During the planning stages, I thought it would be too much for one video. On reflection, maybe not.

Did you test with the talisman that boosts max hp, the tear that does the same, erdtree's favor, and then the defense talismans? I'm doing a run solely to try that

I did not as I thought that it would make the video too long, as I would have to repeat every test six times. On reflection, I probably should have.

Re: the "novel mutation" in the Rose Estate document, in the Korean version, the word used for it can also mean a novel strain of the pathogen. The carcasses are probably new and relatively unknown to the public. Even if it is supposed to be actual, visible mutation of the body, maybe in the past, the afflicted just died horribly disfigured instead of turning into a hostile monster?

And even if you survive it face-taking or blocking with a shield, she steal heals a lot from the attacks. The most efficient method is the old and reliable roll. Edit: I think they should patch it to removing her heals when she is hitting you behind your 100% phys blocking shield, cuz it doens't make sense at all and invalidates half of the builds in the game; Oh, you made a shield build? u will need to remove shield for this battle and play with just half your entire build. Oh, uh are a mid or heavy rolling character that worked frawless until this fight? now u have to switch build. Even mages and archers get their ass beaten to the ground against this fight. It's is a boss that forces every player into a specific buid: rolling and fast attacking. The only way to surpass this is actually cheesing the boss with a weapon that does ridiculous amount of damage, like a glass cannon/hyper dmg with a lot of buffs together orrrrrrrrr by a weapon that can stunlock she indefinitely.

Yeah, Malenia's Waterfowl Dance is not a favourite attack of mine. I found the skill floor to dodge the attack, mostly the first flurry, to be a little too high. I do realize there are several counters, like with other attacks, but I've never found I needed them outside of this attack.
