Yes, it does. You have a whole collection of CV modules that can be used to control all the plugin parameters. You can already try it with the MOD Desktop for free.

It can handle chains that are much more complex. It all depends on the plugins and neural models that are used. Some neural models are very heavy and others are very light. Same for plugins, especially Reverbs.

Hi @ymelfilm Yes. We have a couple of pitch shifting plugins (Drop, Capo, SuperCapo, Whammy, Harmonizer,etc). You can try them out on your computer using the MOD Desktop: mod.audio/desktop/ The Guitar Synth is different, as it does just the pitch tracking and then generates all the sounds on the synth, so no transposing of the audio is made.

that is correct. We have a continuous CV based pitch tracking mechanism which works very well with the guitar. It can even capture bends dynamically. The MOD Desktop include a couple of Guitar Synth boardas for you to try out.

@@modaudio wow,sounds promising! No demo about it yet though I could find. As far as I know, the virtual jeff and maybe the Bigsby game changer that can do kinda perfect pitch shifting (virtual capo).

Hi @ymelfilm. I've replied about the capo in your other comment. We have multiple loopers. On the Desktop version you can try the SooperLooper, which works well but is quite simple. For device owners we have the Looperlative plugins, which are really amazing. The LP3 One is for free and the LP3 Basic is sold for 25€. @@modaudio Maybe as a guitarist I'm a little too demanding when it comes to latency. When NAM + Cabinet-IR + Reverb-IR + multiple effects are loaded, the feel is slightly limited for me personally. But I think that such a device really has a future, otherwise it is exactly what I was always looking for.

It can be synchronized if you wish. It all happens via the Master Tempo, which can be synced to external MIDI and, at the same time, can be used as the control for any time based effect (like the delay). The Master Tempo is available for the entire MOD platform, and not only the MOD Duo X.

The AIDA-X neural model loader is free but the Twin Classic is paid. The entire platform is free open source software and you can try it on your computer: mod.audio/desktop

Sure. You use the computer to load the files on your Dwarf and prepare the board. Once that is done you use it standalone, as a normal pedal.

AIDA-X is a free plugin and is available for the Desktop too, so you can use the models both in the Dwarf as on your computer. AIDA DSP also provides paid plugins (Tweaker, Vibro and JCVM) and a free plugin called Showcase, which contains static models of all channels of their paid plugins.

Sure. You can use both USB as legacy DIN MIDI. With external MIDI controllers you can navigate through setups and also snapshots of setups

They always been focused on other instruments since their initial release of the DWARF. It is now since they released the AIDA DSP that are targeting the videos on guitar and it makes complete sense to take advange of the neural amps hype.
