Hm does not look even as close as good as the ones from the peleton. 😢 I guess a disc wheel is missing and either the saddle has to go up a lot and / or the aerobars down. This looks so wrong 😮

@@saferandquieteroads write it one more time.👍 Are you one of the guys who ride TT bikes and are not able to go down with their back so they sit that upright which makes this beautiful bike look so bad? Ever considered riding a citybike? Did it hit your feelings? 🤣

Drilled carbon steerer tube plus headset spacers as long as the headtube and a short compression plug are a recipe for disaster. Hope the rider have a life insurance.

You're voiding the warranty. you can't just drill a hole in the steerer tube.
@sanglee14
@sanglee14 5 ай бұрын
Not really, only if damage is directly resulted from steer tube. No modification was done on frame so warranty still valid. Specialized has to prove any faulty is direct/indirect result from hole in steer tube.

You should NEVER clamp a carbon seat post in your work stand. Back when seat posts were aluminum and frames were steel tubes that was O.K., but with carbon frames and seat posts you risk crush damage from the clamp itself, and the seat post may be subject to too much lateral stress when applying torque to the Italian thread bottom bracket cups on the Pinarello frame. Instead of clamping a carbon frame directly with your stand, it is much safer to clamp to a SILCA Hirobel which holds the frame securely without applying stress.
