Hi. I'm not sure what they are called but they are little LEDs soldered to the circuit board. I've had a look at mine and decided not to touch them even though I'd like brighter ones.

That was filmed with an insta360 one RS on a mount from chin mounts. I'd recommend an insta360 or GoPro if your budget allows it and depending on the helmet a mount for the chin bar, either a dedicated one or a normal GoPro style mount. A chest mount may work as well.

Just changed mine and, wow, the difference is insane. Honestly given how Honda had LEDs for every other light, why the heck didn't they put them in for the indicators. No one can say they didn't see the indicators now!

Have you seen them in the dark yet? I have no idea why Honda opted for halogen indicator bulbs, same with the number plate light, I'm sure that's just a t10. I'd like to find a good guide on what to replace the little white marker lights with.

I'm sort of with you on that one. There's not a lot at the top end but on the other hand I like the quickness at the bottom and anything over about 80mph with apes and no screen gets tiring really quick 🤣

Nice footage. Could do with audio, though. In KZfaq Studio you'll be able to add royalty-free music from the KZfaq Audio Library. Alternatively, the Patrick Patrikios track "Away" from the No Copyright Music channel would work quite well.

I almost bought a Virago 535 once but it didn't work out and I wasn't happy. Got a 650 v-star instead and later a vtx 1300. I have always liked the Viragos.

They aren't for everyone, no bike is really. As long as you got something that worked for you that's all that matters. The v-star is a nice bike. The vtx looks like they would be quite fun as well.

Did you have to entend anything wiring cables etc to fit them?

Clutch cable and brake line are now longer by about 10cm. no wiring needed extended as I just rerouted it so it was a bit more free. I could do with longer throttle cables but they are ok as long as I'm not on full right lock then they get a bit tight.

In which country are you? Because i would love to have such ape hangers. In germany its nearly impossible to have such big ape hangers with certificate for the virago unless you pay many hundreds of euros for verification papers and stuff like that

I'm honestly not sure but it looks the same as the one black widow selling, it's possibly an older version of the black widow system. I have punched a hole in the end of the baffle so it's more of a straight through.

Unfortunately you might be a bit underwhelmed by the performance if you are used to superbikes. this is a second bike for me and is a bit of a fun project really. I haven't really checked for MPG as I just fill the tank every 100 miles and carry on.

There's no sound because it's a time warp (time lapse) and it doesn't record sound. Even if it did it would be sped up and mostly wind noise. TimeWarp is HyperSmooth applied to a Time Lapse Video. It allows you to capture a stabilized Time Lapse Video while you move about a scene. This compares to a standard Time Lapse Video, which is not stabilized.

Just cheap eBay ones. No red most from me, I waved them on earlier then just tried to keep up hahahaha there was no chance. What little problems are you getting? She's running pretty good but got back from a ride yesterday and there was an eggy catalytic converter smell, turns out the battery was boiling, hissing and about to pop, it's swollen and distorted. I think the reg/rec packed in and overcharged the battery. Not ideal when the fuel pipes run across the top of the battery 😬

@@tanddy feckin hell, when I picked up my bike 2 June I had a funny smell coming from my bike. Exactly the same. Battery about to pop as rectifier shot. Fortunately I had a spare from my fzr 600.. think I got a rectifier for about £16 off eBay. Works a treat plus I got a cheap led voltmeter so I can keep an eye on voltage from now on. I would well recommend it. As for how mine is running....ok. had another tickle with the carbs and good power but I can feel a flat spot mid range. Over winter I'm gonna take em off for a bloody good going over. Ride safe fella.

@@richieiommi I first noticed the smell miles from home stopped at lights but thought it was the cat of the that passed, never smelled it again till I got home. I've got a batter, rectifier and some thermal paste coming today, may as well use the cover as a heat sink. I took a voltmeter off the bike when I got it, I might buy a new one though now that you mention it. My battery box has already been repaired as it's melted at some point in the passed, I'm going to stick a metal sheet on it to help keep the heat away from the battery. Your flat spot could be the pilot jet/screw, I have the same so have been tweaking the screw a little at a time and it's getting better. Once back together I'll get her out to tweak some more then she is getting a rest for a while and the VFR can come out to play again.

@@tanddy I must admit after the flat spot she goes like a rocket. Almost two stroke feel. Had a cheeky ride out this evening and hitting 85 easily. Hopefully gonna get a helmet cam soon and I can put up a few clips. Ride safe.🤘
