Hi Di, I love love love to find a fellow earthing sister!! I also watched the movie and it just made sense! Can't explaing the science? behind it but just makes sense. And most of all, my body is loving it. I try to go for walks at the beach and since I live in an apartment and not much earth around my building I use my grounding mat at home. I also have a kitty who is terrified of the outside and is a total indoor fur baby... I got her a mat and she loves it and sleeps on it every day. And some symptoms of old age have been reversed and my vet doesn't know whats happening, lol. Its the grounding mat, I am positive! I am so grateful to have found your channel and your videos are healing to the soul. Thank you 💓

Oh wow! Thanks so much, I am so happy you found me too. I walk Buddy in the mornings with my sneakers on, that's a long walk of about 90 mins. on pavements etc to get to the doggy oval area, then in the afternoon we do a shorter, 30 min.walk with my shoes off to earth myself, because I drive there and it's grassy. I tell you, I am sleeping better on my bed mat I got from Amazon and a lot of aches and pains have just disappeared. Take care, we'll speak again soon.....hugs

What a beautiful and inspiring space you have. I rescue art from thrifts too. :) How wonderful to have a grandmother that kept the details of her life, and how lucky is she to have a granddaughter that has kept them so safe. Really neat story you shared. The kinda stuff you only read about in books or see in films. Thanks for sharing you space.

Excellent! I've just started my own journey on YT and I'm no spring chicken. You put it well when you said it's your way of preserving who you are. I have been making stuff my whole life and make such pretty things, my family encouraged me to start sharing them. My husband still drag races his 68 Camaro on the weekends and also shares his builds and race results on Instagram. He's even gotten cheap or free parts from other guys who network that way. I'm a home body as I've aged and I enjoy the company of other channel hosts. It's like hanging out with a friend and I don't have to get dressed....and I have all my stuff! LOL In fact, I am listening to this while cutting out tiny pictures for some magnets I'm making. I love miniatures and one of the channels I enjoy listening to when crafting mentioned that she's gets lots of comments about her speed and personality. She's quiet and reserved, makes mistakes and giggles along with them. She's young but she said that the majority of her viewers are older and suggested that because she is the way she is, she attracts that 'slower' style people. I would totally agree. It's one of the reasons I like her. The world is full of crazy, my creative space is one of the few places I can really relax. Thanks for sharing your story and your craft. I have subscribed. I've enjoyed finding gems like your channel as I have been building up "my subscriptions" list. 💕✂

Your comment is sooooo true, the world is full of crazy! I just like the slower channels where people aren't always pushing you to do stuff, it just lets us know there are other souls who like a quiet life, I also follow the "unexpected Gypsy" Wendy is so sweet and a great artist and she struggles a bit and is just, well, human! I will go over to your channel and follow you, I'm so happy you're here!🤗

Funny to see this video as I've just made myself a cup of tea, and it happened that I turned 50 recently.... I totally agree with you about not caring what others tihink, it hinders us in our creativity, and in our capacity to think outside the box. By the way, I thought of you those few days as I was in vacation near the sea, while I was barefoot in the sand and the (cold) sea, I thought of your video about the grounding.... I'm so happy to have found your channel! You bring so much calm, meaning, warmth.... Love and Hugs

Talking about emotions in a foreign language is quite hard, at least for me. So to help you understantd the thought about the compassion, isn''t easy. It seems right to think that being compassionated (?) with yourself would help being compassionated with others, But in my case, it's the opposite, I tend to be very demanding on myself, and very empathetic with people around me. What I need to get out of my head, I wrote it on paper, wherever I am, whatever paper it is, from time to time, there's a urge to let words (thoughts) get out of me. And then I put the paper in a enveloppe in my journal. It's hidden, and there's an effort to make to get back to that thought. I love how you choose (or is it the opposite?) the red flower against your black umbrellas...
@myenchantedjournals
@myenchantedjournals 24 күн бұрын
Your English is very good, Isabelle, well done, the term you used is almost right, it should read "to think that being *compassionate*" otherwise the pronunciation is perfect! I will not attempt French lol it is a great idea to write wherever you are as thoughts can come at any time can't they? Putting them in an envelope is a great idea, have you also thought of burning them? Take care and thanks for your comment ♥

@@myenchantedjournals My daughter thought of burning them. But my idea is that as negative some thoughts are or some moments are, may be I 'll want to rethink of them later, or remember that, at that point in time, I was feeling like this.Hence the possibility to read them later.

I was one of those people to whom the morning pages made it worse. My late mother, disturbed by all her negative thoughts, tried that too and it made her feeling worse too, because she was always thinking about the same things over and over again. That being said, I don’t think that practice isn’t valuable. We’re all different and what works for some may not work for others. In fact, just because it works for the majority doesn’t mean it has to work for the minority. It’s the beauty of being human beings: we’re all unique. And I do love to watch you and see this is a great practice for you. I’m happy for you, Di, truly. Do you know what used to work for me? Writing letters to people I actually knew. Because I was writing to a real person who was going to answer me. Unfortunately one passed away and the other two are elderly now and not in the best condition to keep a correspondence with me and I have no one else… 🧡💙🤎💜🩵💚🩷❤️💛🩶♥️

So I am doing art over them! Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate it ❤️
