For 15 years I serviced the duty free shops of the Irish Ferries that sailed from Holyhead. When I started in 1987 there was no Conway tunnel and the road across Anglesey was small 2 way road. Things improved greatly over the years until I finished in 2002. Looks like it is even better now.

I’m driving trucks over 10 years and I always enjoy the run across the A55 to Chester, nice scenery along the coast and through the Conway tunnel.

Never had any issues in Liverpool with Vosa, not 1 in the past 5 years. But i agree, boats are crap, food is substandard and they wake you at an ungodly hour... Sometimes not even getting a 9 hour break.

It’s no big deal, you have to keep watching the signals of the dockers and not to panic...

The main thing to do is keep watching signals from the crew and reverse nice and steady, and try not to panic.

= Kiwi cropping farmers Warren Darling broke a 25-year-old world record for the highest yielding barley, growing 13.8 tonnes a hectare on their Timaru farm. www.ruraldelivery.net.nz/stories/World-Record-Barley-Yield-2015-2017-03-31-01-42-47Z Warren’s family has been farming just south of Timaru for 3 generations. He says his grandfather bought the property in the 1940s. Some crop was grown during that period but in Warren’s father’s time the farm ran livestock. Warren now farms 450ha of arable crop. For more than 30 years Warren’s focused on crops. He grows winter barley and wheat for stock feed and rape seed crop for oil. Instead of burning off crop residues these are incorporated into the soil, creating a friable compost-like topsoil which is ideal for establishing new crops. - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jLmjkqRlut7Fkmw.html 2020 HARVEST- kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iN-fecmcxLfGZ2g.html - Canterbury Kiwi-,Volgs - New Zealand ..kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rK6TmpqfuarXqHk.html . Why dont use the landbridge instead of using a long boat trip?
@jodyoneill1343 жыл бұрын
The direct ferries to France have always been an option but only on certain days of the week, now they have sailings everyday. Unfortunately due to brexit and red tape transport companies avoid going landbridge due to delays with customs. Ie no one wants a stink load of rotten fish.
