2006 reigns supreme over the 2020. I wore that sneaker to do everything. Hooped on blacktop, drank and spilled beer/alcohol on them several times. That sneaker is undefeated. Also....behind the tab it reads black cat.

Great to see a comparison like this. I actually like the furry white cut edge on the nubuck of the originals. It really lets you see the panels and design of the shoe. That being said, I never could hang with the 8s. I bought them twice over 10 years apart and got rid of them almost instantly both times.

On the stitching above my mid soles the paint chipped a bit but barely noticeable! But I did use a fabric marker on the white trim🤷🏽‍♂️ didn’t care for it

My brother passed away last month and we found his shoe collection at his house his wife said I could have them and he has this shoe and the 23 model you showed as part of his collection. None of them have been worn from what I can tell. It was nice to know a little bit more about the shoes the design and how rare they are. I was thinking of selling them but I think I will keep them due to the unique storytelling within the shoes.

2.0 color way is way better then the 1.0 and the leather is soft just a all around prettier sneaker to me 1.0 got too much white for me.

itas hilarious how people think the leather quality changed much, when if you look at the thickness of the cut, they are just about as thin as one another, they just started to use a thicker coat of plastic on top
