I'm debating between picking up Diamond Mind Basebeball and Replay, I already have Action PC Baseball, too. Now I'm just debating which to sink my time into with a full season replay. The high cost of the base program for Replay kind of puts me off, but should I just go with it instead of alternatives? This will be my first replay of a season. Enjoy your video, thanks

download and try it out... Action PC doesn't allow you to input your other games into it... yes its a cost but I think it is worth it...

The best baseball sim on the market. Jester needs to point out that this is more than a scoring tool that you can use to record your cards and dice games. It’s the best PC baseball game that I’ve come across for running a whole season. I’ve got five seasons under my belt, won it all with 75 Reds (which I admit wasn’t that difficult).

Thanks for doing this. As I’ve been playing DDB I’ve been thinking…there should just be buttons to click for generic events…was thinking of trying my hand and making my own but it looks like someone’s already made it. I used to do all pen and paper and excel then I made my own program and used it for a while. But DDB had a lot more bells and whistles than mine so I went to it. Now I’m considering replay for the buttons.

I just saw this video today, 2 years later, so it looks like things turned out well for you, thank God. I know you're an Ohio State fan based on the shirts I've seen you wear in your videos, and I just want to say as a Michigan fan and alum, I'm so glad you are still with us. I love your videos, you've opened my mind up to tabletop games outside of baseball, and I really appreciate that. I do hope you are still doing well. God bless!

Will notification of the games you're selling be through a video or a live stream? And, will we be notified ahead of time (like can be done with livestreams) of the exact day and time?
@idjester6 күн бұрын
it will be a video I do... will it be notified... hum... probably not because I don't really know exactly what times I will be going live... I might just record the videos and then most them... this way everyone has fair chance to jump in.... Also for friends of the channel (like yourself..) I will be doing a big video at the end of the month talking about things I have that I didn't sell and if anyone wants to make an offer on it let me know... kind of a bonus video... first time doing this so its a learning process

Never heard of anyone not liking DDB. Curious what you don’t like about it. It’s the only thing I’ve ever tried for a stat keeper while playing and I love it. But since you don’t I’m wondering if it may be lacking something that something else has.

Haven’t watched the whole video yet but this game has STB codes in the game so you don’t have to know what ++ means. You just enter that and DDB knows what that means. It has STB, Strat, and Pocket Penant Run’s codes in the game.

I was really looking forward to this game, but now I am not sure. The board does not work well and the rules are not that clear for what is a simple game. What do you think?
@idjester14 күн бұрын
the rules are fine... I don't think that bad but if you understand the basic flow of game you should be able to play it no problem... I game is designed for a long playthrough... so keep that in mind... you have this slow buildup in the beginning which takes away... nothing to fancy or interesting in the beginning until you get to FC or EMP..

2011 some memories of the world series, back in the day of my insomnia issues. I used to watch baseball to get me through the night. St. Louis v Texans. Game 6 top of 8 Texans 6 outs from the world series. Bottom of 9 7-5 up needing 3 outs, new man out in the deep and misses a catch, cards level 9-9. inns ten 11-11 and cards win inns 11 1-0 and game 11-12. Cards win game seven and the World series. Two names I remember were Freese, not sure what he did and Craig (cards) 5 home runs, 2(game 6) 3(game 7) amazing stuff.

I’m a little strange and read lots of rules, but ultimately you need to actually play a game with rules in hand to learn a game.
