It’s amazing how a literal nobody from the middle of nowhere could become the head of a whole society by the hands of fate. I bet if you told him and his parents earthly on who he would become he would laugh at you.

Actually, up to roughly 1933-34 Stalin wasn't a dictator. You may speak about communist dictatorship and that's true but not his personal dictatorship. Only after 1933-34 he changed his attitude abruptly and built his personal dictatorship. Why? It's debatable. But me personally looking how the things are going in nowadays Russia I understand "comrade Stalin". You have to do this or that. There are swarms of people who accepted the task, they spend lots of money and time - but for some reason the net result is nil. Absolute nil. And the worst is that you can't find responsible for the failure. The initial team working on the task left long ago. And new people simply shrug their shoulders: we are new here!. Again: the net result is nil. Nichts. Nada. But Stalin faced the mammoth task: the forced industrialisation of the country. Turning the country from agrarian to industrialised one - and that literally in a couple of decades. Everybody knew that a new world war wasn't far away, and Russia being an agrarian country simply couldn't withstand. And one more consideration which today is more evident than ever. Ok, we proclaimed the goal of industrialisation. But how to do that having no technologies and specialists? And here Stalin used a really unique possibility which is absolutely inaccessible for Russia now: the Great Depression. It was a unique window of possibilities allowing Russia to buy technologues and specialists because the Great Depression was a real pandemonium in the west. Now Putin also talks about second industrialisation but nobody sells him any knowhow because there is some crisis but it's not Great Depressiom. Stalin wasn't an idiot, he understood that the Great Depression would end somehow and that would be a new reality. So he had to use this window until it was gone. But people - especially on the top - are lazy, no one wants to work hard simply because it must be done. And at some point he decided possibly that with the dictatorship the things would go better. And what's really sobering - he was right. Compare with golden Putin's time when all big oil profits went for yachts and palaces abroad for oligarchs. And now american authorities scrape their heads because even maintenance of such a yacht costs a million dollars a month. Simply not to rot and be afloat. What was historically very bad: Stalin wasn't simply a dictator, he was by his birth and upbringing an asiatic man and so he built an asiatic despotism. Being born in Georgia (not to mess with an American state) he simply didn't knew anything else. If he was a native Russian, it's very likely that his dictatorship wouldn't be so asiatic.

I can't imagine a movie sponsored and distributed by the Pentagon, the CIA and the US State Department that tells the truth about "Communism." That would be the same as the Roman Catholic Church telling the truth about Martin Luther. .

Why does the United States fight Communism so much? Why doesn't the US allow other sovereign countries to be Communist? Do you know why Martin Luther was such a feared character for the very powerful Roman Church of the 16th century? How did a single person make the Supreme Papacy tremble? Answer: Cuz the Church knew that he would have millions of followers. Oh! Do you know why a single country caused, and still causes, so much panic for Mighty Capitalism? A: For the same reason. Russia, in 1920, was the first Communist country on the planet... And, World Capitalism, knew that other countries would follow later. Eventually, capitalism would collapse under its own weight. Look here: If "Communism" was a bad idea, it wouldn't be replicated in any country. .

Not! It's PROPAGANDA!

@@salvadorvizcarra769 if I replied Point for Point it would take a month . I was going to Add that in 1967 Israel was first in Foreign Military aid and Bolivia was Second $5 million in Intermediate Arms , Spotter Aircraft and Hueys . A twelve member squad of Green Berets trained a Bolivian Ranger Battalion of 650 men ( Che never had more than 40 ) at Ft. Benning GA . After he tried Bautistas Thugs , he presided over the Trials of 5000 " Counter-revolutionaries" ( like Robespierre ) some were just dissenting , Castro had promised Elections within 18 months. When I read in the NY Times that he had left the Jungle and was trying to reach the Miners at Siglo XX, but there was no cover on the Altiplano, and the Peasants went to inform on him and he was trapped . I think Castro abandoned him to his fate, they sent his Hands to Argentina for print positive ID , and buried him at the end of the Santa Cruz Airport Runway. It took 40 years to send his body back to Santa Clara Cuba where he has a Nitch for Posterity , he was more popular in Cuba , only the Bolivian Miners were politicized, the Peasants around the Nancahuazu Region were afraid of the Army , but they didn't want their Villages destroyed and the Cubans didn't exactly look like Guarani Indigenous and the Guerillas didn't know that language . All your examples are good and I agree that the CIA has almost total control over our foreign policies . Look at what happened to JFK , but that's another Historia .

hmmmmm...no mention of his constant lying, racism, nepotism, narcissism, misogyny, connections to JE (a known pedophile), criminal convictions for falsifying property values for either, tax breaks or write offs, SA or r@ping, autocratic tendencies, love of Hitler, love of current autocrats and dictators, theft of government owned classified docs, pending criminal lawsuits against him, manipulation of court system on all levels up to SCOTUS and just being an all around disgraceful excuse for a human being. Other than that great puff piece. Someone is buried deep inside the orange sphincter.
