My mom recorded only second half of this movie on VHS when I was a kid. I watched this scene so many times and dreamed of being a ninja flipping through the catalogs that sold those weapons. We had a ninjitsu class demo to our taekwondo class which was awesome

The final battle in Best of the Best 3 between Tommy vs Hansen is not believable. Tommy struggled in his fight against 2 champions: Dae Han, and Brakus, but he had a tough time fighting a skinhead, Hansen, who have no martial arts skills. So Hansen is tough as Brakus, Dae Han, or even those 3 fighters whom Tommy beat at the Collesium? Doesn't make sense. Tommy should be able finish Hansen quickly in a fist fight.

I loved Best of the Best. However, the "sequels" should have just been a different set of movies, since they really didn't have anything to do with the original other than the character names. Phillip Rhee is definitely underrated, and deserved to be in more mainstream movies. And another favorite of mine in the last scene, Mr James Lew!!
