I was so moved by your journey and how you expressed the healing process of each mile. I have loss over 13 family members in the last 2 years and sadly since I am an ordained minister I also did the eulogy for each loss. I have been riding bikes most of my life and just recently got the new 24 road glide. You have personally inspired me to get on my bike and take a similar journey. To honor each family member, and friends that I have lost. We want to join your club also because I have not seen that level of brotherhood since I left the Marine Corps. I live in Indiana and I love to connect. As I share my own journey. God Bless You brother. Rev. Don

I'm from South Arkansas born in smackover Arkansas worked in El dorado Arkansas now live in a bump of the road 200 people chidester arkansas. I've been many times to North Arkansas and many other states. I wouldn't live anywhere else though the mosquitos and snakes and fire ants and heat & humidity sucks I love it. It's so hot down here and muggy but if ya dont like the weather we always say wait a minute it's fixing to change. There are many things beautiful sights in north Arkansas. Also sorry your friend got bit by the copperhead. I HATE the water moccasin. Those things will literally hunt ya while your in a boat my husband bumped a tree limb and he didn't see the nest of them breeding dude them things had a ripple wave like a float being pulled behind a fast boat and I was in the back of the boat and whew it took all I had not to jump out and try to run on water. We turned our boat around and I paddled like it was nobody's business. I got to the bank and jumped in the jeep. I was done fishing that slough. But glad to have someone appreciate our state. It's home to us.

I don’t think novice riders realize how technical this road is to ride. It exploits two riding skills some don’t possess, understand, or have never learned correctly. Counter steering and carrying speed through a turn. The hair pins and super elevated turns require those skills to get through safely. Learn them or don’t ride this stretch of road.

the answer is no. unless there isnt space on the road as in, theres cars everywere and the bikes are covering the other sides with no room to go. but if theres 1 lane open and ill take that lane and go the fk home. iv seen bikers on youtube arrogantly trying to weave other sport bikers off the road it hilarious even though the road the biker is trying to enter is empty. last time i remember in this western world, there are laws. u try to ram me off the road on an empty road, just because u in a club and want to be cool, EITHER WE BOTH DIEING IN MASSIVE CLASH ACCIDENT OR U GETTING A BULLET.

Your love and emotions had me smiling. (happy tears) Great Video and dialog. Bought back great times (memories) When Momma was with us. At 54 my motorcycle journey has just begun. I like to think that I have a Guardian Angel looking over me. My Mom was both Parents and feel blessed to have her as such. I honored my Mom with a song that I wrote. To express her impact she had on me and who I am today. Love you Mom....Peace Brother.

Yeah honestly best thing about Arkansas is the natural beauty by far. If you live in a city or crowded suburb. Just riding on those two lane highways flying by all the open plains and fields. With the sun shining and the blue sky open and clear. It's genuinely therapeutic man, it should be a type of therapy for sure lol. Maybe it is...

Man I don't usually play in to people when they play ' the race card' but here goes ... Just who IS THEY ? you know , the ones that are the 'THEY' who said black people shouldn't go to Sturgis ? I just have to know who they are ... Because I'm a white male , and me or any of my friends could give two shits where you go in this great country ... We feel that AMERICANS can go wherever the F they want to go ... So it's basically some bs click baiting to start shit , and 'that' , nobody likes

Internet ain’t real life. Those people that only live vicariously through social media don’t know that this isn’t how normal human beings behave. Most people don’t care or even have time for that bs they’re just trying to get to tomorrow just like you and me. Yes there are people out there who have an agenda for this mess. It’s maybe maybe 1% of people, but everybody else gotta get to work, feed the kids, feed the dog, walk the dog, fix the car, fix the mailbox, fix the cracks in the driveway, get the kids to school, get the kids school clothes, get groceries…. You get what I’m saying. We ain’t got time for that bs, we gotta life to live, and not much time for anything else, and if you do find free time, IT DAMN SURE AINT GONNA SPENT ON THIS HORSESH!T.

Body condition, mental condition, and bike setup for the highway are just a few things that I try to explain to people all of the time. Alot of people think it's easy until they get out there on the highway and find out its not. You told them bruh!

I have so many compliments for you. First, The amazingly poetic and down to earth narration you did in this video was beautiful. Second, the mentality and reflection you have to force yourself from your comfort zone is so admirable and demands a respect. Third, coming from a surveyor/digital cartographer who loves geography, new places, new things, and new cultures, thank you so much for sharing your experience here for other people to be inspired. It’s a story and experience that leads others to do the same adventure this world we live in everyday. Thank you. Regards from N.C. 👍

all good points. appreciate the perspective of the video. i just started riding a about 2 months ago, only have 300 miles under my belt but i take it serious, practicing slow speed stuff and staying local building on my fundamentals. i just went on my first ride out of the city- around 100 mile round trip on winding country roads. before we sent it out we grouped up at a park and i made it clear my abilities and intentions. it was the biggest milestone ride of my life and all of us clicked seamlessly, i hung back and rode on my own terms. my first twisties, my first highway ride and my first time beyond the city. my buddy told me after the fact "give yourself a pat on your back for riding your own ride, but pushing yourself when you felt comfortable".i dont think everyone gets that, and this video was a bit of an affirmation for me.

Oh boy. I can’t stop laughing. Sucks because you can’t have a phone, you get hit by wind too much, there’s phone charger, no radio. That’s precisely why it’s the very best for your first bike. This is the entire premise for getting on your scooter. Leave it all behind and enjoy the journey. Be safe out there.
