Both Hillary Scott and Sara Evans who pass on this song. Were shocked when this song rocketed to no. 1 slot from Idol singer. Yes, they were a lot of country singers unsure of Carrie. Carrie shocked Nashville to its core. As some people put it, Nashville was sacred as hell about Carrie. Reality singers were given a bad rap. American Idol was like a death star but was only for pop stars. Carrie changed that. Carrie turned into an all genre contest.

You notice how much country brass bristle, when they are remind that Sara Evans and Hillary Scott passed on Jesus and Arista grabbed it for Carrie. Both Sara and Hillary were shocked that Carrie took it to no. 1 slot/

She is a true country Girl love her voice a very classy girl all natural no fake Lips or face Blake can stay with his punk rocker singer she is all fake she needs to grow up act her age , her singing at the country awards just didn’t go with what country music is all about Blake should have known better you can’t mix country music with punk rock she sounded awful you don’t call that singing you call it screaming sorry if I stepped on anyone toes but just saying It is what it is . My one tiny gripe is the announcer voice. We really don’t need it. It sounds out of place and cartoony. Would have loved to hear her voice over about her process or missing her fans… otherwise this is the greatest tour EVER. Period.

its not out of place at all LOL its a play on the emcee'ing of Black queer ballroom culture. its supposed to be "cartoony," camp, and a bit obnoxious. Its actually quite perfect for this tour, album and what it represents.

I'm aware of all that has been said about Beyonce and Jay-Z but I have to say that I love this performance with Blue Ivy and Beyonce! For one, not an inch of skin is showing and two, shes amazing! An 11yr old keeping up with the professionals is quite impressive! Wtg Blue!
