@JustFluffinAround Indeed, I love being outdoors in the cold winter snow. Ice fishing, snowmobiling, and winter camping is in my blood. I want breeds that can keep up, I also want to do dog sledding on local lakes in the winter and camp in the winter with them!!

Our dog does this to any female in the house, but he immediately listens to all the males. So its gotta be that they feel that the female isnt actually as aggressive or as "in charge" as they try to sound. My cousin can scream at our dog and he wont budge and any male can just softly say "well come on then" and he hops up and does what hes told. Even dogs know the difference in gender.

Well your dog is sexist. None of my 3 are. They treat the males the same as the females. They all jump for the words like treat, dinner, and go. And all 3 huskies decide if they want to listen to the individual calling them.

Huskies are pack sled dogs. they must have a leader and a hierarchy. It is difficult to deceive nature, nature is not interested in elections :):). A human female smells like a female.

We encourage the vocalizing, too. Only 1 of the 3 will speak on command, but they love giving us all the details when we they are excited!
