Also used for Elderly when they lose strength sucking from a straw or if they can no longer pick up a cup. Fluids are thickened with “thick-it” to prevent aspiration. They have larger syringes as well if you have to start blending their meals. Sometimes they can lose their strength to chew solid foods so you can blend their meals and use the larger syringes to feed them as well.

Folding the blanket at the corner is the most ineffective method. It ends up loose at the neck and doesn’t secure the hands. Fold down 7-10 cm on the longest edge and tuck hands in, then wrap, it gives the neck and head more support, keeps the heat in and the hands can still be close to their face with out the risk of pinching or scratching.

I'll give the solution to this problem, when children do these, simply give gentle slap on their feets or sprinkle water on their face....they will start breathing....this trick was advised by my pediatrics to me. My son used to cry and won't breathe...so he recommended this...

Hi ali Once the foreign body crosses the oesophagus, which is the narrowest part of the tract, it usually passes through the system and the child will pass it normally.

You can add raw garlic as well as while steaming vegetables. When using raw make sure you clean them thoroughly.

Hello masha. Thank you so much for your comment. Beacuse of covid I had to shift to a remote place, also into a busy schedule. Because of which I am unable to shoot any video. Will definitely consider your recommendations as soon as I resume makeing videos.

Hello dr thanks for your very useful videos. I heard that we can’t give spinach to the baby below 1 year old. Is that correct.? My baby is 6 months now ( beginning of 6 months), can I give spinach to him?
@DrKayforkids3 жыл бұрын
Hello amiri very sorry to respond this late. Thanks to covid I had to take a break. It's definitely not true. Spinach is high in iron and fibre. And it's recommended as one the first weaning foods . It's very safe.

I have no use for any of these videos but they are very high quality for what they are. You should continue making videos. Sometimes a long break can be helpful.

Thank you for your kind words. Because of covid posting I had to move to a new place and hence the long unpredictable break. I hope to get back to youtube soon. Your words are very encouraging. Thank you.

@@DrKayforkids of course, I've tried the whole youtube thing recently and I really respect the grind you got making these videos. I know it can be hard when ur not pushing numbers u want to be but don't be like me, keep fuckin doin it. Cause you'll regret if in 2 years from now you aren't making any videos you'll think "imagine if I would of kept making videos, how much growth I would of had by now" and you'll regret stopping I promise. Again dope videos keep at it.

Hi, thanks for the very informative video. my lo is 9 months old and wants to eat everything that she sees, but as soon as she tastes it, rejects it completely after 1-2 attempt. make faces as if she is choked, and doesn't opens her mouth again. she only likes dal and sometimes boiled potato, boiled rice. she vomits if i try give her banana. She is exclusive bf baby. Please help how can i make her eat healthy foods, do not want to force feed, distract feed her. I also include her in our lunch and dinner conversations but no benefit. She is an happy, active child but only prob is with eating habit.

hi Radhika thank you for your kind words. it is natural to be fussy at this age. children don't take on to new flavours and textures until repeated efforts. don't get discouraged. keep trying. you try a combination of vegetable fruit herb/spice . this enriches the flavour and makes it more acceptable. I have some recipes do check them out.
