Do you spray your board first w sealer…I sealed a sign w sanding sealer. Painted the black letters then sanded it….the black paint smeared everywhere and gummed up the sander…total mess on a good looking sign otherwise….no room for power sanding between the stripes and stars….frustrating…….

Howdy Mr. Ryan and The Momma.... I've been watching you guys now...ohhh, maybe 2+ years and I know, KNOW I've had to have said this before.... Where did yall install yalls cameras in my shop? I've ACTUALLY looked...cause it's just straight up uncanny how yall and other channels end up doing videos on "MY IDEAS" as I am about to start doing them myself. UNCANNY I tell ya!!! Though I haven't and wasn't going to go through "this" process yall are doing....I'm going more traditional with silk screening n stuff....But WOW!!! 😮 How this keeps happening is amazing. I'm tellin ya now, I find one of your cameras in my shop...I'm gonna come by and say "hello" and return it 😅😅😅....Grilled Steak, Potatoes and ICE COLD Beer is what you'll owe me. Hehehehe 😊😊😊

I’ve always been a firm believer in you get what you pay for. The few exceptions have often been Harbor Freight tools. They do actually have some quality tools for nice prices. They also keep things you nerve even knew you needed in your arsenal. I love Harbor Freight! Thank you for the info. Sam had to explain,ain’t he drill bits to me but they sound pretty cool.

Been wanting to try this for a while. Up here in Canada I just got some 5/4 cedar (which works out at about 1" thick) Hoping that will work. An 8ft long x 6" board cost arounf Cad$12 Thanks for your videos, very helpful

That angle grinder works just fine, if you don't keep the guard and cutting wheel tight on any grinder they work loose flop around and fly off....don't put down a tool just because you were the one not using it properly. I have several of the Warrior grinders, and a couple of the Chicago Electric ones, they work just fine when you use them properly. Switched on/off manually or the paddle switch doesn't matter, if you don't use it properly it'll eventually bite you. If your wrenches are slipping on bolts, you most likely aren't using the right wrench...see this all the time, people too lazy to go get the proper wrench and just wing it with whatever they happen to have....be it a metric or SAE, they just grab whichever that seems close and wonder why the wrenches slip....I have several sets of Pittsburgh wrenches and they don't slip unless I grab the wrong size.

Hey Eric, I've watch you prep your boards once some time ago. I thought you sealed the board before placing letters to help with bleeding. I made a sign years ago after watching your video. I can't find the video now. Did you use to seal the wood before carving? Thanks for your help
