Really enjoying your videos. We did this cruise 10 years ago and we are doing it again in August. I was comparing our pictures to your video of Mendenhal Glacier. It's amazing how far the glaciers have receded in the past 10 years. During our glacier day, the ship was able to move right in to the bay where the glacier is, we got to watch it calve... there was no option to take a smaller boat into the bay. Looking forward to your next video. Cheers!

Ivy Strait Point was AMAZING! My ideal three stop itinerary would be, Icy Strait Point, Ketchikan and Skagway. I need to go on the mountain train 🚞

Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t all bad but maybe just not to our taste. Maybe the timing of a short weekend bank holiday hop wasn’t the best for a first adventure.

Oh my you’re going to have so much fun! We packed for winter and got summer, I got sunburned on our Icy Strait point day. We had a friend who did a back to back cruise however and she got typical Alaskan weather, cool and raining. We were very lucky. Packing wise it has to be layers. You’ll leave the ship in hat, coat and gloves and by the time you get back you’ve got just your lightest layer on. I tended to go for T-shirt, jumper then waterproof to start off with. I did mainly end up in spirit jerseys and shorts most days.

Aww this was so fun to watch! Gave us all the feels from our cruise last year! 🥹 We was also on deck 6 inside room and didn’t feel like we missed out on all the nature and views so hope you guys enjoyed it still 🥰 we are doing an Australian sailing in November and want to do FE or pixie dust so would love to see what you guys do for gift ideas 🫶🏼 also it was so nice seeing cast members that was on ours! We've just got off the same cruise over the May B/H weekend. We had very similar experience with the bar queues and with the food. The ship was very busy, and a massive party vibe - loads of stag and hen dos. The food appears to be a constant issue with MSC which really let's them down. The staff all work really hard, but there's not enough to manage. This, however, is reflected in the price. V good video, thank you.

The bridge looks amazing! After living in Vancouver for 9months and doing this cruise we still haven’t got out to it yet! 🙊 unfortunately pan pacific has always been extremely expensive, we stayed outside of Vancouver city and just got a cab when we did ours 😜 it’s a great place to spend the morning or afternoon watching the ships coming and going! I would often do this after work and grab a timmies! ❤ would you guys visit Vancouver again in the future? There is so much to explore and see! X

You need to visit the suspension bridge park on your next visit! It’s so much fun! ⛰️ I can’t believe you’ve never been. It’s so close to the city too! We did a last minute change to the Pan Pacific couldn’t resist being right in the middle of it all. We would love to go back to Canada, hire a car and explore!

@@jsadventures682 I know! Work and life got in the way when we was out there 🙊 Yes highly recommend that! So much to explore! Especially if you drive your way over to Alberta and visit Banff! We lived there for a year and was MAGICAL the best place in Canada 😜

Great video :-) - found you as we're looking at doing purple parking. We're going on the Disney Wonder to Alaska next May so a lucky find for us!! Looking forward to watching the rest of your trip. How far out did you book purple parking as prices now are tripple what you paid, so I'm guessing it gets cheaper the longer we hold off booking maybe.

Thank you so much ☺️ We booked our parking with holiday extras just less than 6 months before the cruise. Price was for 11 days parking. If I remember correctly. I think we booked during the Black Friday sale.
