@@MannyRataul haha no, turns out I have a CFI-2000 so based on the serial number the panels are a little different. The back pieces are separate panels which are removed with the same technique but pulled from a different place. I think everyone saying their panels won’t budge has that model PS5 😂

I got the base M2 mini for the family computer and it is fantastic for that. If you make money editing videos or photos then get something higher end but for the majority of people that just web surf and play some games it is plenty.

I use a 8gb RAM and it’s ok . I use UTM with another Sonoma running for test and works very well. For me the storage is ceitical, bur i use a Thunderbolt 4 case with 4tb nvme pcie4.

I got the x because I like having the option to use the disc drive hand the higher graphics power and it was only a few more dollars a month then the s on a 6 month 0 interest loan so win win win

I had a Series 2 since January 2017, which is still working now. But I thought I needed the Series 9. I’m older now, more accident prone, and also starting to have those age-related illnesses. So I thought it would be good to upgrade to the Series 9 for the crash and fall detection, the ECG, the blood oxygen (I’m in the Philippines, and blood oxygen is enabled in Apple Watches purchased here). Plus the cycle tracking (for perimenopause, not for fertility). And I am very very happy with the decision. I have the 41mm Starlight.

Personally, I need a test of editing and plugin handling, not exporting files while watching videos. I can wait while a file exports... I can't work with a client or even well as a musician if the ball is spinning a lot. I have yet to see anyone address directly the primary concern: does it handle audio with a lot of plugins (not a filmscore, just a normal modern DAW song project; and does it freeze up constantly with s decently complex ten minute FCPX video edit? It is OBviously what a lot of people are wondering, and no one is doing the obvious.

My wife and I just got the iMac m3 yesterday at best buy for 1299! I thought the price point was great! 1299 for a new iMac is cheap! the laptops are more I guess cause there portable. anyways we love it and we got the blue one cause they were out of green.

I’m pretty sure you still have to rip the iso file from the disc onto your computer but I might be wrong

@@hablicious6117 trust me, this issue has long been moot. I completely messed up my MacBook because I erased my drive to factory reset and had to install the OS it came with. I can’t connect to the App Store to get the new OS, so I’m SOL. Thanks though.

@@hablicious6117 yeah, onto my internal drive. It’s a good laptop for sure, it’s got a decent enough intel i5 processor and 8gigs of ram which is the same as my windows laptop. It’s got a good 250 GB SSD that works lightning fast and has the biggest benefit of having a CD/DVD drive that works

What is the performance difference when playing in 1080p? Is it negligible and only noticeable when playing in 2k or 4k but not in 1080p on both consoles? I'm primarily PC but I saw NCAAF won't be on PC and console only so trying to decide between S and X.

M1 Macbook is worth the value and affordable above all the Intel chip Macbook. Apple has to control its price to compete with the unknown Huawei CPU chip for its laptop and PC machines.
