So I’m relatively new to this world of go karts, I’ve done a lot of rental karts indoor and outdoor, there’s a website I use where you can buy a tony kart 401R chassis the engine doesn’t come with it, some videos if seen ssay to get a Briggs and Stratton lo206 engine and your saying rotary evo or somthing I just want some help with picking out the right stugg

Depends on the kart. Some get up to 150kmh, my one can only get up to about 100, theoretically could probably get to 110kmh.

We often take our Rotax out to a short outdoor rentaltrack.. we lap in 37.4 secs while a decent rental time is 45

Something I have found super helpful for speed when doing the rear width is using spacers, they fit inside the hubs so as long as you have your axel centered you can just add the spacers and away you go

Hey, I don't mean to ruin this for you, but getting into F1 is almost impossible. Firstly, you have to start racing at an extremely young age. Max Verstappen started karting at 4 years old. Secondly, you need literally millions upon millions of pounds to only get to Formula 3, never mind Formula 2 or Formula 1. Lastly, you need to have a huge amount of raw talent to even be close to competing with the likes of Logan Sargeant, let alone Hamilton, Alonso, or Verstappen.

I just drove a 400cc kart the other day. I had the feeling the tires hovered over the road while turning and had significant understeer many times felt like wheel didnt do anything and other times it felt like i was gonna spin out and i had to correct it by turning the other way but i didnt even turn the wheel that much. Am i bad or can i blame the kart

it's because the rental karts are soo slow you can make the corner with a tighter line so you reduce the track length.

I had a similar case on Karting track Oldenzaal. There you have racing rental karts and standard rental karts. They have totally different racing lines and if you use the full circuit with the standard karts you actually end up losing time!
