Another thing that really shocked me was the ANXIETY of the players - even if we were 15pts ahead they would interpret a draw as if they had lost the scudetto…. It shows the mental fragility of players but also how devoted they were to this mission last year

we need some coach discussions dom! Adls apparent decision to not go for conte would be a big mistake and after this year he really can not allow napoli to do another mistake. its not that i would not like gasperini. I would be even happy with sarri or calzona. But in this situation with no ucl and maybe no uel conte could lift us to a scudetto contender. which after this fucking year no coach on earth could do. Give him all the Money and the promised 150-200 mio for players. He will stay 2-3 years. and until than we can focus in 3 years of tima for a coach that plays a certain philosophy. but missing out on conte this year would be a huge mistake.

I think Politano deserved at least 6.5

Tough result to swallow - seeing a glimpse of last season’s Napoli was so ENJOYABLE and it was our finishing and defending that let us down. If anything, I want Napoli to stay in 8th so we avoid playing in the conference league 🤞 but hopefully this game is a sign of better performances ahead!

Disgraceful treatment of Natan and Istigard if the rumors are true. Ostigard in particular has never let us down snd has deserved more playing time ahead of Juan Jesus especially. Natan is a young guy who needs time, not criticism. Remember K2s first season under Benitez.

Sacking Garcia was a bad decision with him they would be pretty close to the top 4 in my opinion.Mazarri and Calzona are Seria B quality coaches.

tbh i dont think anything or anyone can save this team except of conte. he might be the only one to bring spirit, courage and desire back into the team. Also poor calzona in a way.. Not watching any game of the season anymore.. what a disgrace.. the one to leave should have been adl. If you look at leverkusen right now, they are in a similar position like napoli last year. The big difference is they might keep all essential players, but more important, noone fron the staff is leaving. Adl maybe on too much cocaine announced at the scudetto party that he now wants to win the Champions league and that this team is a ferrari where it is not important who is gudining it. With kicking out sinatti, guintoli and spaletti he fucked up seriously. For the 50 mio he got for kim (which he knew since april or may of last year!!) he brought an unknown natan some days before transfer window is closing, late august... From having a Squad that was competing in europe, where you had the absolute unique historic possibility to create a further winning team, to adl destroing absolutely everything where we are unable to take more than 1 point against frosinone and empoli.. Garcia wanted Danso badly. He would have cost 30 maybe 25.. unheard of. Looking back guys, garcia even was the best of these coaches. Of course the players lack drive, of course they dont take responsibility and of course some players play individually their worst season absolute. I was not expecting this team to win the scudetto again. Best of 16 in cl against barca is okay. We could have won last year but still it is a legit result. I really see the problem in all the mistakes done from adl in preseason, including replacing sinatti.. During the season you could always sense that the pressure was becoming simply too much. Punishment talks or possible premi from adl dont change the issue. This season is over. I dont want to play conference league tbh. If conte is not coming i do honestly see this team going down a road of 3 years of mediocracy.. So give conte his 10 mio from osimhen (who does nothing except being in offside) and give him every money he wants.. even though right now, with no ucl you cant say who wants to leave (kvara, lobo, dilo??) and who wants to come (koopmeiners for sure not) My strategy. Conte, 2 defenders (dk but good ones, Hancko and buongiorno, danso also good, maybe a return of kim idk) A zieliniski replacement (sudakov or samardzic), osimhen replacement (david probably) These players should cost less than 150 mio (when samardzic instead of sudakov than 120-130) so there might still be money for another midfielder or attacker. Who should leave? Juan jesus for sure, rrahmank needs to be evaluated, maybe in contes back three he can stay, zambo the same. Lindstrom with huge potential but needs to go with raspadori aswell and one of natan or ostigaard. Thats it. If Adl feela sorry for this mess he might give everything. The President is to be blame for the whole Season chaos, replacing Spalletti with Garcia was actually a disaster and as if that was enough he replace Garcia with his friend Bazzari who was on his farm after his career then again another unknown coach, absolute disastrous season. All these players were good with Spalletti and with Garcia it would have been better to achieve Europe. Now you have to let Vara leave and Osimehn

I’d be more than happy to se Rrahmani and Juan Jesus play for Serie C next year. I don’t know if they caused this but I don’t wanna see them play another minute, they have done nothing in order to deserve wearing a shirt that some people would give their soul to wear and protect it. There needs to be a complete rebuild from the root.
