Why are there many drivers considering not coming back next season? Saying it’s been a tough season, political, etc… what’s going on?

Unsure how 'many' - but there has been a lot of debate about things in D1NZ over the last couple seasons, particularly technicalities in the Judging Rulebook, Tyres (Sizing or compound rules) as well as issues with consistency in executing penalties for rules like wheel stickers, vehicle compliance etc. There was already a few big changes this season, and possibly more to come next year.

No you need tyre speed to stay off the wall but he couldn't gun it without hitting the lead. He tried to hold back as long as he could until finally washing into the wall. Bit of a tough call that one.

Minimum tyre pressure rule was dropped this year and replaced with a debead rule, where the teams cannot change the wheel anymore unless it made contact with something

Drifting is such a good spectator sport but man sometimes events don't go to plan with crashes, failures etc and you end up spending most the of the event waiting. Fair play to people who stuck it out
