I saw 6748 in Hanford earlier but when I saw her, the train she was pulling was longer. Must have dropped off most of its cars at Stockton.

I used to really enjoy riding the long haul trains however, Amtrak really needs to put some money in the aging viewliners. I do believe they have made some cosmetic changes, the rolling stock is 1980s vintage? I guess they are not profitable, but still crap is still crap no matter how much nail polish you put on the outside.

A Caltrain manager had said they’re basically could’ve phase out the gallery cars one salted new transit come online. The bombardier cars will be strictly on the San Jose to Gilroy segment until the equipment is purchased to furnish the EMU sets with new batteries so they don’t run an electric catenary power
