i lost my dad last may, it’s been hard. we were super close, as there was a lot of abuse my brother and i endured at the hands of him, but that does not mean that it wasn’t a loss and it came with a lot of pain and reopened wounds i thought i had gotten over. losing a parent is difficult and it’s also a lonely journey. ❤ i started therapy for the first time in my life, and it’s been the very best decision i’ve made. i can say i should have done this years ago, but maybe i wouldn’t have been in a position to receive her words the same.

What a productive morning! Those breakfast burritos looked delicious...I'll bet the kiddos were glad when they saw that mama had restocked them! And I have a great hint for the bone with skin thighs!! Prepare your spices in a little bowl, then add a tablespoon of baking powder...it crisps up the skin like nothing else! Don't worry, you don't even taste it! My go-to blend is 2 tbsp dry Ranch seasoning plus 1 tbsp baking powder. Also, I loved seeing you use a dish cloth to wash your dishes...I'm old school, so that's how I was raised. Your dishcloths are very pretty, too...do you remember where you bought them?
