In Indonesian schools, our teachers said this: a dark 'l' is found only in the Classical Arabic word 'Allah', a clear 'l' in 'lillaah'.

Widow, willow, wallow. It's crazy that none of these words end with the "w" sound.

Emma has an old video about dark l and it's a great video about dark l. I shadow it multiple times every day. Paul fell in the mall and looked like fool~

Hailing from Yorkshire, I think I'd find the Hawaiian language quite easy... famous for their glottal stops...

Great job explaining these. But I have to say that a lot of these aren't exactly Gen Z lingo. I was born at the tail end of '89, and I grew up using a lot of these in the 90's. Some of them weren't exactly new to me, but their exact meaning has always been a bit elusive since I've never bothered to look into em until now...iykyk 🤦♂️

In India people who know English and speak are more concerned about the grammer. Pronounciation is also important but we don't take any special classes to improve and pronounce correctly. Your videos help us pronounce the words correctly. ❤ ❤❤Emma.

Thank you for the great video. For me, apple crumble is the best dessert, and it contains two dark 'L' sounds, as I learned from your valuable content. Thank you. ❤🧡
