I had one of the gen 1 Titans with a Cat C15, on airbags & alloys, & I simultaneously had a KW T904 Gen 1 but it had the daylight doors that took a few years to become standard in place of the 1/4 vent doors. It had a Cat C16, 22 series box, steels on spiders on 6 rod, 60 inch sleeper & all the rest of it. They were completely different trucks of course but I was able to compare design & build quality, at least. The Titan was a good truck, don't get me wrong, but the T904 was all over it, even bearing in mind cost. Macks were just built cheaper. There was no comparison in the wiring, KW route & shield their's beautifully. Anti chaffe protection is evident, Macks had a problem with the motherboard located in the left side footwell. Dust accumulates there & negatively affects the plugs & sockets, which incidentally weren't deep enough, & as soon as contact is lost on the plug at 2nd from the left, the engine suddenly revs out ungoverned all the way to detonation presumably. When contact is re-established, it behaves normally again as though nothing had happened. Until next time, & being an intermittent fault, it took some finding, let me tell you. Something that I very much disliked on the Titan was the crawl through the hole reminiscent of the one on the old time sleeper boxes. It was bloody awful when compared to the walk in on the T904 with the 60 inch. Its true that old school Macks were robust, but.........Quite frankly I think that Volvo, Renault, Volvo ruined Mack.

Yes, Mack trucks are strong and reliable. My favorites are the "R Models". Like the personal talk by the driver of 40 years.

I like the design of superliner as very aggressive, the mack athem I dont like the design,

2024 and still has halogen headlights…… this truck design has passed through god knows how many technical and mechanical engineers and not one person thought to drive it at night.

I love MACK trucks. Unfortunately there are only very few of them in Switzerland. Trucks that big, 50 meters long, couldn't drive in Switzerland. We only allow a total weight of 50 tonnes. I like watching outback films on KZfaq. greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭to 🇦🇺

With the MP10 vs the D16 there were differences (like the turbo, for example) - any idea if there's much difference between the MP11 and the D17?

The Leyland P76 of trucks great motor the rest is a joke for an Australian built truck. Got three of them and you simply cant rely on them.

We just got an Anthem here in Canada. Looks awesome and looking forward to trying it out for the 12 months. I got a 70” sleeper.

I hope Mack trucks Australia is working on a roadtrain version as they've done in the past with the superliners & CL's. The anthem would need a longer bonnet to accommodate the MP10. Listen Volvo you'll get a heck of a lot more sales if you put a V8 under the bonnet. Its a proven fact that Aussies & kiwis love their V8 macks. Id put a 730, 770 or 999 under the hood of a Superliner or Titan if i had the money.
