Sort of defeats the purpose to have HBO -- which is not tied to network standards -- cut off two guests with a set time limit. The beauty of podcasts, now you can talk for 2 hours and 33 minutes and 4 seconds if you want to.

And then years later Billy balls was right, you got players wearing pink jerseys during warm-ups, pride colour flags on their sticks or jerseys as well, it’s ridiculous

Bob is a very little person in stature. He could've never played football at the peewee level. Small people can be very athletic. Bob isn't one of them.

fast forward 7 years since this video. less fighting. suspensions for legal checks. flyers and bruins are not only wearing pink but also rainbows. sounds like the nhl is all about revenue and could care less about the game.

7.5 years ago and the situation has only gotten worse so fucking sick and tired of all these ridiculously stupid looking jerseys infiltrating sports across the board. NFL is bad. NBA, NHL, and MLB are even worse

Everything that is wrong with the NHL came into the game after 1993 when Betteman took over as commissioner (loss of 2 Canadian teams, too many new teams, less fights and hits, less offence, etc…)

You wanna fix it? It's simple. Make hockey equipment and the it self sport more accessible for everyone. The cheapest hockey equiment for a youth can set back a family nearly 3k. Its hard

One thing they need to do is put more games on major broadcast networks. I'm a huge Nashville Predators fan and I haven't been able to see a single game on TV this year because all the games are on Bally Sports (cable) or require you to pay $20 a month to watch the games on their app. I used to watch the games all the time, but I got rid of cable earlier this year. One thing you notice about the NFL is that they have tons of games on regular broadcast TV.

This clip makes me feel a little sad for Jordan. Gretzky has the luxury of being so carefree with his public persona while Mr Jordan feels the need to be so careful almost all the time. I can sort of begin to understand why… and it’s in part a shame.

Ben Simmons, luv ya bruh but I think you meant to say the NBA has ‘imploded’ the past 5 years? I know the league is your career, and rightfully so! 👏👍But my man, we need your voice to help the league get back to being watchable for guys like us, Bill! I’m 44, I’ve made several attempts and gave up on the NBA only this year. I’m open to change and evolution, but this NBA?! It’s just plain disrespectful besides about a dozen players…😢💔

The funniest part of the NHL selling out to “woke” DEI initiatives is that they’re misdiagnosing their growth problem, which has always been the barriers of entry for young people. Hockey is the hardest popular sport for kids to get together and play. You can do some semblance of the other major sports almost anywhere, but the same can’t be said of hockey.
