I made the P1000 in the same way I would make a delicious lemonade with a single lemon and what gave me this opportunity was the availability of being able to configure the RAW file. My post-editing images, combining this RAW with my personal configuration, deliver images that even the Canon R8, 90D, R7 and RP did not deliver to me, whether near or far targets. God forgive anyone who criticizes the Nikon P1000, they don't know what they're talking about, lol... I use 3 programs, LR - PS - Topaz All Another note to colleagues here, always store your P1000 in a transparent container with a dehumidifier (humidity 40) so that it has a long useful life, free from fungi. Super Zoom, thanks also for the videos!

@@SuperZoomVideos, What a shame! I've had it for 3 years, without "chronic" problems, I live in the northeast of Brazil (coast) we have a lot of humidity here. If you don't store it in the dehumidifier, it won't last long. It depends on luck too, lol... Avoid blowing or handling with food-stained or oily hands, this prevents the fungus from feeding and proliferating. Thank you for passing on the information that Nikon will not continue with the P1000, unfortunately!

And people say see there is a curve lol. If you don’t see flat earth here then you haven’t even begun to realize the truth. I’m a math teacher’s son and I do I fact know what a parabola is and why it was invented and what it is used for, curvature. Nice flat earth proof. 8inch x’s miles squared is even an equation that Stephen Hawking used in a PBS show titled Genius with Stephen Hawking episode six titled where are we? I have the video my brother in law has 10. Just in case lol. Cheers

The argument ships go over the curve is rediculous. If so the ship would curve away and appear to be sinking head and back first... in reality the shis is pefectly level.

In Cape Engano, october 1944, the Japanese fleet caught by surprise Clifton Sprague's task force.The battleship Yamato used their awesome artillery from 40000 yards!!.They didn't need radar to pinpoint the American fleet.I bet the telemeters the gunners used were made by the same factory that produced those cameras.

Most people dont understand that the reason this is the only compact camera with this zoom range is the tiny image processor. Whih is also why its images are generally speaking sub par. There are very few things they can do to improved this. If the increase the size of the image processor (which would make its images more usable) it would significantly reduce the zoom range. The smaller the imager the more the zoom crop factor.

I love the P1000, but it has some major limitations. If a competitor ever releases a similar model: The P1000's minimum aperture is only F8. Why not something like F22? Secondly the sensor is soo noisy, even at ISO100. I heavily rely on the Adobe Lightroom Classic AI noise removing tool to get usable shots at all. I know that the camera is dependent on the small sensor's crop factor to get 3000mm effective focal length. But I just hope if we get a new release there is some improvement in the sensor noise. And the finally hunting for focus contrast autofocus, especially at full zoom or low light, that sometimes takes 2 seconds to find focus and then sometimes still fails. Plus a myriad of smaller issues.

Yes to everything you mentioned, a lot of that I feel could be overcome with an updated version of the camera.

LOL! You globers always give the best proof! You can't even understand the phenomenon that is happening here... 1. Inversion: As noted on the left side where the hull is missing and the top is starting to repeat itself. You know, that air gap between the blue and water that you are ignoring? Oh wait, that's not all. Look at the right side and pay attention to the red on the top which is also near the water because of this phenomenon. There is no blue of the hull near the red which is also next to white just like the top of the ship. Temperatue is playing a huge role here because that is what causes it... 2. Refraction: See the wavy pattern that you are ignoring? You supposedly understand this but always fail to acknowledge it... Now that we understand what we see, we can then tell how half the ship has been inverted on itself hiding it which makes it appear like it is going over the imaginary curve you are so desperately try to prove and fail... You would actually understand all of this if you understood REAL science and REAL physics...
@mikemental8285
@mikemental8285 15 күн бұрын
Real science, real physics 😂 Sure. Zoom in the sun and moon after they are "sank" behind the horizon. If earth is flat, you will succeed. Good luck
@Elkysium
@Elkysium 15 күн бұрын
@@mikemental8285 Do you not comprehend what I said and the problems with just 14KM? At the distance required, even more problems come into play. Why do you think the sun looks so big at that distance? Too much water vapor and atmospheric contamination to deal with which causes a lensing effect. Then there are also land obstructions. Even technology has its limits. Just like the human eye, cameras can only see so far. The atmosphere itself acts like one giant lens and this becomes apparent the further through the atmosphere an object is. Lit objects are affected more than nonlit objects because of their interaction with the atmosphere. Besides, zooming isn't necessary when all you have to do is increase your altitude, and bam there the sun is again in full view. Even this will stop working because no matter how high we go, we can never see the whole surface of the Earth. After all, the maximum distance of sight is being reached. Maximum distance could never be reached on a surface that curves and eventually obscures itself and no matter what you do, you would never be able to bring anything back into view... Now, how can this same camera capture the surface of an object that is 239,000 miles away when it can't capture more than 500 miles of Earth before it becomes too grainy to see because of its limits? Even the 500-mile ability to see in any direction destroys curvature itself. At these distances, objects should be leaning away from you but they never do...
@Elkysium
@Elkysium 15 күн бұрын
@@mikemental8285 I also forgot to mention that at sea level 14km away, you wouldn't even be able to see any part of the ship because it would have sunk below curvature preventing it from even being seen... 0 height at 8.6 miles equals 49 feet of obstruction and the ship is only 47 feet in height...
