The animation with the old man and montybear really reminds me of smiling friends, at least the animation

I read a book in 7th grade called "under the wolf, under the dog" (i think i butchered the name) and it hurt so bad. I definetly recommend that book because it delves into the mental health and attitudes of teens and even adults really well.

I do like the story of needle mouse but it does kind of suck that, in reality the video game that everyone got trapped in could be swapped out for pretty much any generic video game, and the story would be almost completely unchanged. By the end it feels really disconnected from being a creepy pasta about sonic, and more just about these people that happen to be trapped in a game that just so happens to be sonic. Would have liked to see more elements of sonic be used rather than just using the characters as costumes for their story, no matter how great the story is

20:55 I was looking away from the video for just a few seconds, and that knocking sound affect scared the crap out of me. Out of everything in this video, that got me, and it was by me not paying attention to the video.

lacey games embodies the trauma of familial sexual abuse and psychological abuse extremely well. it's very cathartic and reminds me of the "traumacore" stuff you find around on the internet. vent art and hyper realistic edits used to express trauma.

Hi, @Gearisko and friends. I love the cosmic horror uncanny valley theory as much as the next person (and this is by no means a criticism of that theory or of the work of the artist in the video; their work is dope and unsettling af, like, in a really good way), but i just thought i would pop in to explain why humans are icked out by the uncanny valley. Being around rotting corpses is very bad for your health. Especially if that person died from something toxic or contagious. Even if you really loved that person before they died. As soon as the body dies, it begins to rot. Skin sloughs off. The lips recede, making the dead person look like they're grimacing or smiling creepily. The eyes sink in. You get the picture. They still look like the person you loved, but they begin to look "off", as you put it. The Uncanny Valley is most likely a phenomenon / feeling instilled by evolution to make us stay away from / "prepare" / "deal with" (burial, cremation, whatever you prefer) the biohazardous corpses of our loved ones so that we don't get sick. Its a mechanism to override our intense instinct to stay with the bodies of those we love, so that we don't kill ourselves by staying. It also serves as a sensation that alerts us that something could be wrong with someone if their appearance changes drastically during an illness. I think this explanation is just as (if not more) existentially distressing as the prehistoric cosmic monster theory. ✨️🌚✨️ stay weird y'all

The caretaker alway freaks me out.... I just think parental figure are meant to protect and care, but it messes me up when it goes horribly wrong and twisted. Things to do with kids touch a nerve with me...... Because they're more vulnerable Ahh I dont know.
