That’s not cammed. It just won’t idle. That’s why the constant revving.

It has schrick/kleemann cams. It was tuned and runs perfect.

My 427 sbc in my 65 chevelle used to do the same thing until I started running higher octane fuel doesn't do it anymore

Thank you very much for th is video. My 87 has split rear/brake and turn signals. When my car was imported in the Netherlands in 1995 somebody cut all the wires and made a mess of it. Now 20 years in my posession it still is. Maybe thinking about cleaning up that mess...

Mine has same issue 6014 box and carb have to leave it in gear when turn off it diesels bad once engine gets good and hot.

I LIVED in a 55 Chevy panel van which I rebuilt and it had swivel chairs, a sink next to the driver's seat, it had my bed, etc. and a big wood railing on the roof so I could sit up there and see the world. Went to many famous rock concerts, was rather infamous because a girl lived in a van back in 1969. I had to sell it to pay for my first child's birth, was a sad day.
