Good advice. Just picked off all the galls off the azalea in my back garden. 👍

It does seem sad, but it eats away at the roots of the tree it surround I believe... Otherwise, it seems more than fair to let them sprout up and take their natural course and be appriciated for the unique little phenomenon they are and to be delighted in 🥰

I have already used talstar and malathion and my problem is still persisting. My bush looks exactly like the one in ur video with all the leaves falling off the top!! Thanks!!!!!!

I have bagged my grass clippings for 40 years. I stop bagging during the hot weather when i cut every 2 weeks. My neighbours leave their clippings on and it looks terrible and the clippings take forever to decompose.

sounds like they need a mulching mower.. or if they let it go long, go over it a few more times.. I have a property I didn't mow for ages, took a few runs with the side chute to get it down and you know, mostly chopped up but still heaps on top.. last week I ran the first mulch pass and it's pretty well all broken down and down amongst the thatch now. The idea old mate is talking about here reducing thatch is, if you get get all the nice fresh cut green on the ground in contact with the dry dead stuff then it can compost in place.

If they are seedlings dig them out to get the entire root, if they are saplings growing from the main root then this is your solution! 6 cups of boiling water add 1 cup table salt non iodized pour into sprayer add 2 tablespoons dawn dish soap and half a gallon of 45% agricultural vinegar ($20 on Amazon) and shake well, it will not foam. take a piece of cardboard about 8 inches square and cut a pea size hole in center then cut a line from edge to center of hole, slide around stem and spray solution on leaves and stem then place nozzle at base of stem and spray into soil for about 3-4 seconds this should kill them all. I have been fighting with Sweet Gum root saplings for a few years and mixed this up to experiment and in 4 days I had over 60 shoots from a big tree we had cut down 4 years ago all dead and turning black, been over 2 months now and not a sapling in sight.

On my strawberries it appears, stems, leaves, and the berries. What can I use to treat this on strawberries? The berries that have this on them should be thrown out right? Should I trim leaves and stems that have brown on them as well?

I've started to develop something resembling leaf spot on one of my privet root balls that was only planted a little over a month ago. I still don't know if it is leaf spot, but it is similar to some images online. The appearance is one small brown dot either on the edge or the base of the leaf that has a greeny yellow halo around it, with the affected leaf itself turning bright yellow. I've removed about 10 so far from this root ball in question, so far my other three aren't affected. I would be grateful for any information on how I can treat & prevent it spreading to my others.

Ol' Jim there looks exactly like the kind of person to whom I would entrust the care of my lawn. I bet he's pretty expensive, but I get the feeling he's probably worth double what he charges. I mean, you see how green that grass is? If that grass had a tail, I guarantee it'd be waggin' every time it saw that truck pull up.

I've been an Arbor-Nomics customer for 8 or more years, and my technicians have been battling chamberbitter unsuccessfully year after year to my frustration. It seems I have call the office multiple times in July and August to get them to come out for extra applications. You would think there would be some proactive work done to try to keep this aggressive weed in check.

ever tried topdressing a zoysia lawn? Just curious about the results. I am in a similar situation and think that if I can build the soil level up about an inch It should allow my zoysia to get nutrients before it gets to the tree. thoughts?
@joshbare34105 жыл бұрын
It is difficult to raise the level of zoysia through top dressing. I think ultimately the problem would still be there.
