@amirmasih500425 күн бұрын
Hey mate, I did the upgrade on my Premium NA 2.0 4 CYLINDER i30 from 8 inch to 10.25inch. It works perfectly fine the annoying (battery discharging thing will come up) I also have an issue where my car interior light went completely off while driving on the highway and it came back on after turn the car off and on. The reverse camera is blurry compared to factory 8inch. Recently had an issue where the under revved when I turned it on and started shaking. I’m suspicious the 10.25 inch stereo is consuming too much power/ electricity compared to 8inch normal ones. I’ll keep you posted, I’m going to Hyundai dealer tomorrow to talk about the issues and I’m heading to battery shop to check battery condition, because i bought a brand new battery 2 months ago.

My car broke down last week due to the dreaded P0810 actuator issue. The way it is, every single i-shift owner will experience it one day or another. The fact that Honda doesn't offer any service for the actuator but will charge you thousands to replace it is outrageous.
@Luke.Skywodka3 ай бұрын
By how many mls/km did it happend? Did you got it fixed?
@monsieurbrochant75283 ай бұрын
@@Luke.Skywodka 120k km. I followed the instructions I saw on many KZfaq tutorials (including dozens of Russian tutorials), where I replaced the carbon brushes of my actuator (mine were dead). The problem disappeared and the car starts again, but I'm not sure yet that it's fixed until I can fill the fluid and bleed it properly

Thank you for this informative video. I can only use an auto box due to an accident damaged left leg. I want a Civic but noticed both the road tax and fuel economy are cheaper with iShift models, but do you think I should still get a full auto?
@aSidney3 ай бұрын
@delatronics3257 I'd say a full auto would be best - the ishift requires your attention for "smooth" performance but an auto won't, it'll be much easier to live with
@swesleyc74 ай бұрын
Ok so. Notice how there's a box around the original paper intake? That's so, when the hood is closed, it draws in cold outside air in thru an intake plenum. The new filter is sucking air in directly from inside the engine bay - you're taking in HOT air. This is very very bad. You can overheat the engine easily. "cold air intakes" are usually anything but. If you can find a way to isolate the new intake to draw in outside air you'll be better for it.
@swesleyc74 ай бұрын
I rewatched and you can see the box that comes out with the original filter. It has a forward facing plenum that takes in air above the radiator in the front of the car. But the point is the filter sucks in outside air. You want to isolate the filter from taking in hot engine bay air.
@aSidney4 ай бұрын
@swesleyc7 There is an inlet above the radiator as you saw. Forge's own testing showed inlet temps of 30 degrees after 4 hard pulls. The engine bay is fairly well ventilated and at speed there's plenty of fresh air coming into the location of the filter. I do not believe this to be an issue
@Y2hlYXRlcgАй бұрын
Not an issue with this car, during the testing of this part the company (Forge) claims this one performs better than a smaller intake with a heatshield etc. Apparently it's well ventilated. So not an issue!
