He sounds pretty rational and the situation ought to have been brought safely to a conclusion without anyone getting hurt. If the girlfriend was out of the house and the police simply retreated anything else could be handled by citation.

The cop talking isn't listening, he said numerous times he didn't push her on the ground and the dumb cop keeps saying so you pushed on the ground. I've seen plenty of videos of people pushing others and no one gets arrested.

Dumb oinkers should have left the guy on his own to cool off and obtained a warrant for him the next day if they were that concerned about a push. We see cops push people all the time and nothing happens to them. Why not?

He threatened the police from the second he started talking to them and y'all are crying that he ended up getting shot? Threatened them MULTIPLE times and clearly he was not incapacitated because he spoke very clearly. Shame but it is his own doing.

This was Ugly & I believe the girlfriend wasn't upfront & honest about the entire fued & she knew what trigger buttons to press with this guy- but you also can't put your hands on nobody or u get arrested! But it's SAD cuz both our Military & Police suffer from PTSD but it's I guess two different types?!? He really did put these cops in a difficult position but when he Tased the threat he went DOWN & they should of cuffed him & that's it. But the Cop over reacted & Shot him at close range DEAD.-THE END- Police need special Training on how to Deal with Our Military Guys & Gals & not with Firearms! Thank you to our Military for your Service & thank you to our policeforce as well ( but it needs to get better)

Wow so this guy died because he pushed someone! Didnt knock her off her feet didnt bruise or cause a red mark! I cant believe this couldnt have been handled differently. I think a lot of people would have domestic violence convictions if they were arrested each time someone was pushed. I wonder how the ex gf sleeps at night. Was it really necessary to ramp it up and come get your stuff that night? I bet the cops have lied to themselves in an attempt to alleviate their guilt. But it was obvious he ment no harm to anyone bit himself.

It was a domestic violence situation. He admitted to pushing her, not withstanding what else he could have done given that he had no qualms with berating her with insults and saying straight up that he was going to kill those officers. Doesn't seem like he was a mentally well-adjusted individual to be given the benefit of the doubt considering his blood is on the wall of the house. That is besides the point, he can't just kick someone out if their name is on the lease. If the individual accepts to leave, which is what seems to have been the case, they are also allowed to retrieve their stuff. Had the man not stated suicide by cop in the very first few sentences of his interaction with them, maybe they would have just let it go. It is crazy how people's perspective switches up when the agitator and assailant going for a gun to shoot cops is someone they respect rather than just an ordinary citizen. Had he been some junkie or even regular Joe, the comments would be flooded with admiration towards the police for them taking out the trash and abusive boyfriend.

The timidity in the voice of the officer was truly a pitiful sound to hear, becoming so immediately grasped by his emotions that he could neither think clearly nor reason with the suspect should be justification enough to be kept as far from the public as possible. Even worse, the way the officer half-heartedly pleaded for the suspect to keep breathing, I get the sense that he was indifferent about the life he had taken. Pathetically weak men of low spirit, and a female officer nervously scurrying around behind them after the shots were fired is not a display that instills confidence.

Took top right officer 3-4 minutes of going back and forth in the appartment before she finally realized she had to go downstairs and grab the medical supplies... And nearly 30 seconds before they thought "hm maybe he needs life saving first aid". Absolutely horrendously handled by the police officers. They did NOT need to escalate it the way they did with someone who complied as much as he did. Like other people said, they could've just left him ticket or paid him a visit the next day when everyone has had some time to breathe and digest the situation. They need to implement more training that caters to situations that involve military veterans and personnel.

After the officer tased the suspect they should have fallen back and waited for back up! The Casper officer should be charged with murder!

So tase him and if that fails he picks up a rifle which he has trained with due to deployments? You know tasers are massively unreliable. So officers tase him it fails he picks up a rifle and gets into a fire fight with three officers. Don’t be so daft man

Officer Padilla went to get supplies…stopped and went back, then proceeded to slowly go get supplies. They can run when a black kid has a crack rock but can’t run when they shoot a man who needed mental help? Lol. True morals are shown in times of stress and violence…these officers have no morals.
