one of my favourite landings is at Heathrow , if you lucky to seat on the right hand window seat on a clear day, its truly a majestic sight

Nice. But every pilot in the US Navy lands like that on a 300 foot runway compared to 2300 foot airport runway, at 150 mph and is stopped by a cable in 2 seconds. He could be a carrier trained pilot.

Great photography, but I’m not understanding why this was necessary or the safest option. That’s surely a really, really short final which resulted in touchdown well down the runway. Is this really an example of great skills?

I've seen that landing before. It's an optical illusion caused by the camera angle. The turn wasn't that sharp.

Looks like the vantage point of this video is the Takarazuka area? Just wondering because often aircraft heading for runway 26 pass over my place in Nara before making their last turn for the runway.

Terribly unprofessional RT… full of unnecessary chatter, trying too hard to be funny.. failed. ATC controllers like this should be removed, a hazard to aviation safety

@@worldaviation4k Not me. But I also have a real life. Maybe people who film airplanes or sunsets lack that. Try a job, that would be my advice, then you won't get bored. And try education, then you might think of something original you could do if your work isn't enough.

I thought the international language for aviation comms was engrish. I guess if it’s intra country its ok for local language to be used? I’m a novice, so please forward me if I’m wrong.

Good pilot skills. I actually thought they were speaking Japanese for a minute, I could only pickup the odd word here and there. Unfortunately Asian people have a habit of always clipping their words when speaking English. English is a language that mostly requires the spoken words to be said in their entirety, if not it is very hard to decipher what is being said. The word 'can' for instance loses all meaning when pronounced 'ca' it needs the 'n' otherwise it doesn't work.
