Wow the guy from Finding your Roots has a house on Martha's Vineyard so you know it's a top notch community. I remember the movie the Inkwell 😊

Dammit man, Black Atlas with Nelson George was a true treasure. I miss these times. Smartphones and social media were really just in their infancy here, so there was something simpler about these times and even how the platform of KZfaq being the main hub of video bloggers using it to really connect people and experiences. I watch this and I am instantly transported to the year 2008 and whatever destination Nelson takes us!

*WE, Peruvian People always have received foreigners by 2 centuries, gently. We don't segregate, we ASSIMILATE the different cultures. That's why our cuisine, our dances, our culture is too varied. Here in Peru we say we have a little bit of eberybody and from everywhere. Greetings from Lima, Peru ! :D *

I used to swim at the ‘Inkwell’ beach as a kid in the 60’s and 70’s. I never heard anyone say anything like this. Maybe in earlier generations?

Two things. One, did Nelson George actually step foot in Fairview? Virtually all of the visuals I saw in this video were of touristy locations, mostly downtown. Two, the mayor of Fairbanks they mentioned later became a pastor and still later went to prison over grant fraud associated with that church, which no longer exists. The Church of God in Christ denomination took a major hit in Alaska over that episode.
