Don't buy Xtrons. Go for Teyes. Much, much better and now Teyes have headunits with 6GB RAM.

Before you go any further, prise the unit apart and tighten that nut. The case snaps together - you won't break anything prising it apart with a small screwdriver. Do make sure that the USB plug can fully penetrate the USB socket. I had to file down the case slightly to ensure that the plug would penetrate, which could be your problem too.

It's a USB DAB+ dongle not a DAB-Z dongle for a start and that loose nut should tighten to the dongle not be used as a lock nut for hte aerial.

some people are idiots.....and this video is shit. He only shows how to connect the usb.....he is missing to show how he has connected the aerial. So we only see him connecting the usb. If the aerial is installed wrong there is no signal. This is the problem with this idiot! I have this DAB+ USB and it works fine! I have a dab+ and FM antenna adapter connected to my antenna on the roof of my car, it works great! I have hundreds of DAB stations! Don't make this idiot think he knows how to connect this usb DAB+ He is an IDIOT!

Signal bars turn from white to green when the unit picks up DAB reception. Also the standard dipole aerial is rubish unless you are in a very good reception area I would use the standard AM / FM roof aerial with an adaptor. Also at 45 sec one of your reception bars turn green.

HUGE problem with XTRONS and DAB. They need to get their shit sorted very quickly otherwise the UK importer will see a huge drop in sales

You don't have any signal. Look at the signal strength bar at the top right. White means avaiable signal, but green means actual signal strength. You have 1 bar of signal strength at the most. Move, or reinstall your dab antenna...
