I just want to point out that everyone is talking about "why the camera man isn't doing anything" well you see what is the camera man gonna do? there is a pack of crocodiles he ain't gonna do shit. He is going to end up just like the zebra Also crocodiles need energy and (rest in peace the zebra) animals need to eat animals for their only resource of food

@warhammerlegacy1858 сағат бұрын

@frybit4104Күн бұрын
To everyone asking why the photographer didn’t try to help, as gruesome as it is, this is a situation where you SHOULD NOT HELP. Trying to scare the remaining zebra away from the water would separate the herd, which in itself is already a huge problem. Zebra find strength in numbers, and cutting those numbers down will decrease their chances at survival. On top of that, crocodiles need to eat too. They were waiting for so long because they were picking off the weakest zebra they could find. As terrible as it is to watch an animal die, predators picking off the weak ones only makes sure that only the strongest members of the herd survive. It all goes full circle. Zebras get to migrate to where they need to go, crocodiles pick off one or two weak ones, and the herd won’t have to care for any stragglers. Still not convinced? This is just the natural order of things. The only time you should intervene with nature is to either protect an endangered species or if the danger is caused by human error. A crocodile needing to eat is not human error. Don’t feel too bad for this zebra. Zebras aren’t so innocent either. Males are known for killing foals (baby zebras) to establish dominance.
