To be real, anything that’s 20* levels or more in difference at any other point in the game idc what the types are you woukdnt be able to one hit or even half ko the opponent but when they get to level 50+ it’s all the same lol. A level 20 would never take down a level 45 but a level 50 can take down a level 85? Unreal.. makes no sense.

Omfg this battle is so iconic man. There was MT. Silver background music playing and as soon as you step to Red, it just stops, followed by .... And then the hardest drop in all of gaming history. What was crazy is how nervous and low key scared i was because you think it's just another NPC not fully expecting how intense this was going to be.

I think I beat Cynthia in only around 3-7 tries on my first playthrough of Diamond. Of course, I mainly used my Torterra for the battle, but honorable mentions go to my Staraptor and Rapidash. They were VERY helpful against anything Torterra couldn't deal with on his own. Of course, I love my entire team. Torterra, Staraptor, Luxray, Gyarados, Rapidash, and Kadabra (I had no friends and no cheating devices). Pokémon that aren't Raichu or Espeon, who will forever hold a special place in my heart. That level 162 Rapidash I got wiped by from the Old Man Glitch in Blue is behind me. Remembering my playthrough team for Diamond made me realize that just because one Pokémon pissed you off, it doesn't mean it wasn't valuable to you at one point. Anyways, good job beating Cynthia like 5 years ago! :D
