Stock rear end? that will be next! Some guys have installed the independent IRS from a Datsun 510. That makes an awesom setup with a Subbie 180 and you have a bullet setup. The stock rear end will be eating alive by the amount of HP you have. I have half the HP's you have. Thats how I know.

Yep stock rear for now. I swapped it in to be able to go on Power Tour. I’ve got a ford 8.8 swap planned. I’ve heard about the irs swap but haven’t looked into it.

Copper Falls is super pretty! I enjoyed my last trip out there. Just avoid the 'look-out tower' thing that is like 200+ steps to reach, but then shows you nothing but the middle of trees that have now grown taller than the tower.. haha

So, you like a 510 with leaf springs? LOL Made-in-Taiwan Bluebird (YL-706) sedans are all equipped this way. But almost all of them are badly rusted by now.

I would love to by my crossmember has the stock mounts cut off when I got it. So instead of trying to find another crossmember and or fabricate them to use stock mounts I tried this route. Just a few regrets lol. I’d these rubber bushings don’t work I’ll be switching to stock mounts.

It’s a 65’. I’ve worked on for like 4 years. Turbo 5.3 tkx 5 speed 9” etc. Very fun car.

We found the measurements online and had a machine shop make them. I plan to shoot a follow up on the car since Power Tour. I can share the specs then.
