❤New technologies, new research tools❤. BIG SCIENCE doesn't want to eliminate the *BIG MUD* of noise in fundamental optical experiments. WHY? Let me suggest for schoolchildren and students on one's own to measure the Universe, dark energy, black holes, etc. To do this, I propose two practical devices. «laser tape measure *+reference distance* 1,000,000 m”» and «Michelson-Morley HYBRID Gyroscope». I am writing to you with a proposal for the joint invention of a HYBRID gyroscope from non-circular, TWO coils with a new type of optical fiber with a “hollow core photonic-substituted vacuum zone or (NANF)” where - the light travels 250000 (In a laser tape measure, the length of the optical fiber is fixed at 1000000 ) meters in each arm, while it does not exceed the parameters 84/84/84 cm, and the weight is 24 kg. Manufacturers of “Fiber Optic Gyroscopes” can produce HYBRID gyroscopes for educational and practical use in schools and higher education institutions. Einstein dreamed of measuring the speed of a train, an airplane - through the Michelson-Morley experiment of 1881/2024, and only then would the experiment be more than 70% complete. This can be done using a fiber optic HYBRID gyroscope. Based on the completion of more than 70% of Michelson's experiment, the following postulates can be proven: Light is an ordered vibration of gravitational quanta, and dominant gravitational fields adjust the speed of light in a vacuum. you can make scientific discoveries; in astronomy, astrophysics, cosmology, higher theoretical physics,... (We are not looking for ether, we will see the work of gravitational quanta) The result is a «theory of everything» in a simple teaching device and a new tape measure for measuring the universe.

I’ve never heard/seen anyone explain why the Gravitational constant is involved in the plank length, other than it allows the meter to pop out in a dimensional analysis. I sure hope I’m missing something , b’cus “lookie here I found a meter, why dat must be that there plank length thingy everyone has looking’ fur” seems like a pretty crummy foundation to build science on.

what exactly are you measuring when science claims to measure gravitational waves? i understand "a wave" but what does that mean lol why are so convinced gravity is/has a wave to detect?

Is time dilation an absolute or relative phenomenon? My understanding is that it is a relative phenomenon and observable only by the Earth twin, not by the space twin. For the Earth twin to observe time dilation the space twin must keep moving close to the speed of light, Time dilation will stop once the spaceship lands and both twins are once again in a common reference frame. How then does the Earth twin observe that the space twin’s clock was running slow? The clock never actually ran slow, it just seemed like it did to the Earth twin as long as the space twin was hurtling through space. I don’t understand how a clock that always ran proper time relative to its own reference frame can record the apparent time relative to an external, unknown, reference frame.

Good question. The solution is in the general relativity chapter where we cover how a gravitational field does slow time.

I wonder what would happen if we drug near-Venus objects to Venus's L1 point, and let gravity take over forming a small planetoid object. Would it be able to block a % of energy Venus receives from the Sun and slowly lower it's temperature. Just a thought.

There is a type of Space-Time diagram in which the scale for both systems is the same. They are called "Loedel Palumbo Diagrams" and with them any analysis of special relativity is significantly simpler. They were developed in the mid-20th century by the Uruguayan physicist Enrique Loedel Palumbo from the simple, but brilliant idea, of considering in a diagram of Minkowski not one, but two "mobile" systems with the same speed, but in opposite directions and then remove the "fixed" system from the middle and... voila! you have two systems with the same scale! .The relative speed between these two systems is now given by the sine of the angle between the axes, not by the tangetic and trigonometry is that of all life. It is a shame that they are not very widespread. The deduction is very simple and can be found in the following link kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pZqbfsh4nbbdqYE.html

Matter and light cannot “fall into” a black hole. At the event horizon all energy is blueshifted to zero velocity. Light stops there.

What if the ether is real and everything is just a vibration on the ether? Particles could be concentrated waves that are self contained. Basically, they cannot propagate because for some reason (I am not sure why) the particle sucks the wave back into itself. Just an Idea but it would explain why we see wave like behavior. So, if we see particle and wave like behavior, which we do, then particles can turn into waves OR wave turn into particles. Based on what I know, it makes more sense for the wave to become a particle. Or what I think is more accurate, the wave begins to look like a particle.

Hi David. Greetings from the UK. I just want to say I appreciate your videos so much, I never saw myself being interested in astronomy or physics but since I found your channel I've got to say I look forward to your next video because I learn so much from you. I just wanted to ask if on future videos, could you please notate which pieces of music you use throughout the video as they are so calm and relaxing, and I'm sure many other people think so too. Thank you again for the videos and I look forward to many more!

Superb content. It does make you wonder if nature is having fun at our expense though; we've drawn universal conclusions about electromagnetic radiation from two experiments (PEE & BBR) which are limited to surface phenomena and a subset of elements. Recent work suggests that the PEE can be explained via a quantized atomic model without any help from particularized light; essentially via resonance.

At 04':00" "something was dramatically wrong with our understanding". Actually, something was dramatically wrong with Rayleigh thinking he could model the cavity the same way he modeled sound in a closed room! Wien's Approximation (not his Displacement Law) followed the data MUCH more closely. Quite why R-J received the appellation "law" when it was so obviously wrong is really suspicious. The politics of the physicists vs the chemists, especially regarding Boltzmann, statistical mechanics and even acceptance of the atom (Planck wasn't convinced) was at play here. Planck started from Wien's Approximation and fudged it with the "Auxiliary Constant" and the rest is history. My only point is, classical physics wasn't "catastrophically" wrong, Rayleigh was! Superb presentation BTW.

This compendium of nearby stars proper motions is a good start; these should be compared against the velocity measured via spectral measurements (aka slipher) to see how accurate or inaccurate our spectral velocities and distances are. (or aren't). THIS IS EXTREMELY important to the current model of the universe, which assumes that spectral measurements are correct via redshift to measure distances. If they are not accurate, these distances would then COLLAPSE the current model of the universe as we have been told for 100 years.
