Hi Kev, I haven't posted on your videos for quite a while but I always watch them and love what post and how you present them, so I just want to offer my two penneth, for what little it's worth, my brother be easy on yourself, the times you run are faster than many, many people half your age, besides, what is a time anyway, did you start running just to post quick times, do you only run with times in mind, completing a run of any length in any time is a massive achievement, my advice take a few days off, then go out for a run and leave your watch at home, just be in the moment, no times, no pressure, simply remind yourself of why you chose running and why you keep running

Hi Kev, I noticed you had quite a congested start, I had a similar experience last year I just couldn’t get into my stride and lost time dodging people! I beat myself up as I felt I had underperformed ….you were very supportive to me on Strava and I took what you said onboard …moved on and planned my next race. Take heart mate you me and all the other “old” guys running are setting the standards for our younger running buddies…”I hope I can run as well as you when I’m your age” is a comment I often hear! My philosophy is Stick at your training and results will come, enjoy every run/race/event, have a beer after! Hope to run with sometime.

Hi Ian, yes the start was on a narrow lane & we were all packed in like sardines so getting into your stride was a little difficult & of course I was filming 🎥 too. Looking at the bigger picture I'm grateful that I can still run recording decent times still at 66 & yes I have received many compliments from younger runners impressed that I'm still going strong. I think we are both good role models to our peers and especially you Ian doing a magnificent job coaching.
