We have our Topcon DL-502 level configured to take 6 rod readings. When we connect our level to MAGNET Field, the level is reconfigured for a single reading. Is there a way to set the MAGNET Field level program to take multiple readings?

I tried this and it gave me an export error. Is there a solution for this?

Thanks mate. I just updated to Version 8 and importing CSV points is much different from the previous version, it doesn't display at all my eastings & northings. I am thinking of reverting to the previous version until Version 8 is really stable. Can you comment on this please? thank you.

Question !! this is confusing, why is it that your Occupation and Backsight points are the same Point 1000? Resection point doesn't have a point because you're going to read from a known point which is 1000 but in this video, you're doing a resection and using the point 1000 then backsighting 1000???

Please make a tutorial about. After you create the DTM and change afew points Height how do you update the DTM. In previous version it was a function for updating DTM but in the new version it's updating DTM Points which doesn't work and it's not the same thing I assume.

For those running base and rover radios, a video showing how to start the base radio and get to a fixed solution state allowing for the recording of the values when occupying a point would be very helpful.

Bucket width does matter btw. If you're just reaching straight forward and back then okay that's fine. But if your machine is rolled left or right and you're swinging the machine to test the 2d sensor then you wouldn't be testing accurately. My current machine I'm checking has an almost 2 foot wide bucket pin! Roll/tilt the machine a bit and that movement adds up to a decent bit! Think of it the same way you would a tilt bucket. The blade corners of a 1 foot bucket won't move up and down that much as you tilt it. But on a 6 foot bucket the corners of the blade are going to move a TON!

is there any way to move DTM mesh around. i notice when you rotate the job the DTM dosen't move with it? how could i move the DTM too? thanks

It's a pity it has to be done in this order - seems better to do the L and R angle measurements, have the instrument turn to midway and then shoot the distance. Otherwise how do you know you are dead centre to start with?

Has anyone had issues with their SHC6000 with the display turning off by itself (but computer still on), and the only solution being plugging it into power? Happens periodically with two of our tablets. Becoming a nightmare.
