This property sucks: I am currently living in a 2 BR that is 1050 sq ft. And they are marketing 4 BR in 1130 sq ft like it’s gold?!? Talk about cramped living…!

buy to live or buy to profit is the Billion dollars question. The STATE is consistently monitoring and putting in LAWS to make sure it does not go haywire. As for the banks they are legal loan sharks.

Hi Jen, if one upgrade from a 1 mil EC to a bigger better location 2 mil condo now, wouldn’t the forced saving money be eroded by the high interest paid to the bank over a period of say 10 years before cash out from the 2 mil property to a retirement right sized property?

What do you expect an agent will say? Always a very good time to buy, even back on 2007, 2013 when market is at its peak. These sales person only cares about take money from your pocket to theirs.

Got roof over head can already , block wind, block rain, block sun , can sleep well, poop, shower. Then go to work. For working people you dont spend 24 hours , 365 days every moment in the house, its for sleep only , resr bathe , read news paper, poop shower then sleep wake up work work work. Husband buy for wife and kid to enjoy with grandparents. Husband stay out from 7am to 9pm. Use house only from 9pm to 7am. 6 days a week. Sunday , sleep whole day, wake up eat then get rest. House no need so good , pretty, Fh lah, 999 years lah. Retire 65 years , still need to work until fall sick. Where got time to enjoy facilities. Btw, my 2 properties all paid up mortage , got prop overseas to enjoy only in schoool holidays. The rest if time empty, only lizard and cockroach keep house in neughbouring country company. Normally , work until so tired, kids enjoy. I sleep, wife drive car cross border.

Just lim kopi with group of old schoolmates, all worried for their kids cannot afford to buy a proper home when they start working. Only PAP lost significant share of votes in next election then they will seriously cool the market. Currently still hot, so just buy buy buy.😂

Interest rate is still high even if the rate of hike slows...next year gonna be jialat. Don't worry about being priced out. Market never goes up constantly.
