this comment is 2 years late, but im playing smt 5 now and one of the things i came to appreciate it its how there are soooo many ways to approach any battle. you can have so many different strategies and teams, its so fun!! frustrating but fun :) the charm is figuring out the approach works for you

Your team is already pretty questionable, minus amanozako, but on top of that, you aren't even using defense buffs, attack debuffs, and you're not even trying to guard against the megidoleon + maagibarion combo.... edit: y'know what now that im rewatching the video, i thought it was kinda strange how you had full buffs save for defense, did you get marakunda'd the previous turn?

Finally, I saw someone using adversity + impaler animus + figment slash. Sadly not a single one Freikugel crit. Sirlionhart made a strategy with safeguard with all these skills plus savage gauge skill in 2021, so his nahobino figment slash dealt double damage.

You could have taken the 3 party out of stock during adversity turn and done like 5 figment slashes It's still rng but with your damage it could have probably killed the fiend
