Looking for an honest answer. I have a love / hate relationship with heights. My understanding is that the lower path is not for the faint of heart but that you can instead take 327 A at Colle Serra. Is this true or is there a lot more exposed drops along the path ?
@ProWalks13 сағат бұрын
I really don't think you'd have a problem walking this path. You are never right on the edge. If you walk that upper path, you will miss the very best part of the entire hike. I think I filmed the upper path in my very first walking tour of the Path of the Gods. It was one of the first videos on my channel. So you can maybe see the alternative route there....but I wouldn't recommend it.

Can't wait to go to Tokyo next March. Will you be covering Shinjuku? I'm deciding between Shibuya and Shinjuku to base at. I'm sure you had fun there.
@ProWalks15 сағат бұрын
Hey, I posted up a Shinjuku walking tour a couple weeks ago. It was an evening walk. I stayed in Shinjuku at the Shinjuku Prince Hotel. It was a nice base for my travels since you can get anywhere from the Shinjuku train station. Shinjuku is a bit loud and crowded though, and you're surrounded by strip clubs...if you stay by the train station anyway, which is the main tourist center. Either Shibuya or Shinjuku are fine to base at. They are just a few minutes away from each other by train. I walked between them when I first got there and was exploring. The Shinjuku area probably has more to do and interesting things to see. I hope you enjoy your trip. Let me know if I can help in any way.

@@ProWalks Sorry, I did a VERY brief search through your videos and didn't catch the Shinjuku one. I will watch both and do a little more research. Aside of eating at the sublevel restaurants I really want to see the 3-D billboards. Thanks for the info.

What an ugliness these sun loungers are, terrible. Isn’t it clear that in the pursuit of money the beach was turned into a pitiful semblance of a beach. And how many videos I watched in every town, the same thing. The financial inequality of people is very noticeable. And everyone has dissatisfied faces, not a single happy person.I used to want to go there, but somehow the desire disappeared. It’s better to vacation in the USA; people there are happier and easier. Thanks to the operator for this video.

Hello, could you tell me, the Centaurus statue (Igor Mitoraj's) in what year was it put there (in the forum), because i've visited pompeii in 1981 & it was already there...
@ProWalksКүн бұрын
I'm not sure. I've seen pictures from 2005, 2009 and 2010 when it wasn't there. So maybe it's been installed and replaced. It's not original so maybe it's just part of a cycle of displays they put up.

@@ProWalks do you mean the centaurus i've seen was the original? Thank you!!!

I think what you saw must have been different. The one in the forum now was created in 1994 by a Polish sculptor.

Thank you so much! So many “tours” like this on KZfaq but this one is great quality. It feels complete, relaxed and professional.p, especially with the narration matching what we’re seeing. I visited in a wheelchair just over 10 years ago and didn’t get to go to some of the areas so it was wonderful to see more of the areas and just to relive the parts I did see after having learned so much more of the history since then.

Loved that you didn’t feel the need to add music to the video. The sound of your foot steps on the gravel and cobblestones is very relaxing. I’ve been twice as a chaperone for a student group as a quick stop with a 1 hour tour before heading to catch the ferry to Greece. There is just so much to see and your video showed me all the back alleys, and nooks and crannies I’d love to spend hours exploring.
