Bought a 500 ton IMM when finances were tight. Unloaded it with a trusted friend and placed it. 56,000 #. Rented a lift truck and done. Moved many smaller one over the years.
What does the inside look like? How robust are they?

If I read correctly, is this from the year 2000? Wouldn’t it still be using film ?
@africanelectron7519 ай бұрын
No it's sensor based
@RB01.109 ай бұрын
@@africanelectron751 Do you mean like digital? If so I always thought that film X-rays were still pretty common in the late 90’s to early 2000’s. I thought it wasn’t until the mid to late 2000’s when film became totally obsolete. For example, when I had a chest X-Ray at 5 years of age in 2000 due to pneumonia I distinctly remember waiting for it to develop and seeing my X-Ray on the film. Same with my dentist X-rays as a kid during that time, I remember waiting for them to develop on film.

@@RB01.10 yes it's a digital system but film is still in use today in many fields

Welcome please ? If there is a lot of iron in the materials, how can you get the iron out of this furnace? Is this furnace suitable for melting these materials, or is the rotary furnace suitable for materials that contain iron (nails or other types of iron)? With thanks and appreciation
Used this or a very similar one when I was 18 first job in a factory, did not like going between the die faces when there was a problem 😂

Years ago I found an article where Honda is using this same method to make pistons for their 4-cylinder Honda Civic cars.. you end up with the Piston almost as strong as a Ford's piston but it does not expand like a forest piston oil allowing you to fit the pistons almost like a plug fit as they will not expand nearly as much as forged Pistons will... But by using pressures like 3,000 tons you got a grain to the casting similar to forged with the strength almost as great as a forged piston and what Honda found was 4 to 6% less friction in the cylinder walls so u gain a little bit of horsepower you get a little bit of mileage everything's better... But I've been searching now with different phrases everything I can think of and I can't find anything on making Pistons with this type of machinery which I know they do Hondas already done it but you can't find anything on them either so something's up must have been another big break through they're not going to tell us about for a while .... But this is the types of machinery in the process where we need today to manufacturer Pistons diecast high pressure cold chambered for Big bore single cylinder 2 stroke dirt bikes ... And if the truth was known the stock Pistons from Honda for their CR series Elsinores are probably already made this way cuz those last forever I mean I ran one for 7 years and never change the piston never got loose.... And you fitter why scale forge piston in the same engine it may last a week and it's destroyed.... So we know the factory passage are better than anything you can buy aftermarket except there is a few aftermarket companies that are starting to make cast Pistons that are OEM ...but are hot gravity-fed diecast with about 22% so I can send and then there's all the other alloys that are good for making forge pistons and then there's different alloys good for making cast living room Pistons so there's all these metallurgy factors that need to be figured in to make the perfect sought after ultimate piston for Big bore 500cc and bigger single cylinder 2-stroke Motocross engines cuz they're coming back and they're coming back in a hurry big time people are spending as much as 5000 bucks to restore the ones from the past as they're faster than ever and you can get as much as 10,000 bucks out of a rebuilt cr500r and even more depending on how much is spent on the frame the wheels transmission gears there's all kinds of exotic metals now being used to make the aftermarket accessories even the frames put phase and hamburgers extra duty exotic and it wouldn't hurt to have a exotic piston that would be the ultimate at one of these machines

I edited that comment above about five times in Google keeps putting in words that I don't want in there is why it doesn't make any sense when you read some of it this artificial intelligence is dangerous as it changes the meaning of your sentences to where they're meaningless and it does it every time I hit the post button so it's T-Mobile's ai and Google's AI knowledge war one thing to know more than the other one does. And it's getting down right ridiculous has it takes longer to do speech to text and you can only type with two fingers on these little tiny keyboards and still hit the wrong letters as it decides for you which one you was supposed to hit has it knows more about spelling now than you do and so they don't change the letters as you type them domain a whole different words that you don't even want in there don't even have anything to do with motorcycle it's so stupid

Around 2006 Honda started using this method for casting the Pistons for the Honda civic . Automobiles.. They are claiming that they're Pistons are 6% less friction than ordinary gravity cast.... using the high pressure cold die casting. The casting comes out almost as strong as forged but with low expansion rates like gravity cast Pistons with silicone in them... There is a huge market waiting for these Pistons of the two-stroke Motocross racing industry that is booming right now ... Gravity cash Pistons have been used for years in two stroke Motocross racing.... But with these cold chamber high pressure castings you have the factors of 4.4% less friction will make a significant difference in the acceleration and horsepower not a small two-stroke engine... And with their low expansion rate could be fit somewhat more accurate.. with the strength very close to forge you could run more explosive fuel for a great increase in horsepower.
