hey, I have a question: can this bench be used for bench press if it would be placed in a power rack? i am looking for leg curl extation with safe space so if I could also do bench press on this, it would be great

Got myself the ATX Compact Belt Squat - it's now my favourite equipment. I love it. You can squat like smith machine squat aka lean back and straight up down or squat hatfield style. Can also do it without holding the support . so easy to grind with lots of sets and reps. can do it as often compared to a barbell squat. In fact when you think about it the barbell squat is actually very inefficient for quad development. The BBS is more a compound body exercise. THink about it - who needs anymore unnecessary vertebrae compression. It's very compact for a belt squat yet does what it advertises. IThe only downside is ATX don't sort the screws - they just give it to you in a bag !! took a long time to figure which goes where. It's also incredible for donkey calf raises. As in anything ATX the material used is top notch solid no BS quality. hated building it up - everything was so heavy. You deserve it, I can see u getting one - i'm guessing you'll be going for the bigger brother the ATX Belt Squat Machine - double the weight capacity of the compact. 300kg vs 600kg capacity

I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the kzfaq.infoUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B

Will this fit a Rep PR5000 rack?
@danielhewitt8 Жыл бұрын
Probably. An ATX 800 series rack is 127cm inside width. The REP is listed as 129cm outside width. The Smith sits dead centre of the footings in my ATX so it should fit.

Thanks for the review With me being 6"5 1/2 and weighing a heap, this would probably be one of my best bets for a decent home leg extension without taking up a huge footprint (basically just the size of a bigger adjustable bench), just looks bigger and beefier too I find with the bench attachments I have tried I can only do extensions 1 leg otherwise my toes scrape the floor doing it 2 leg, or I'm squashed for space (curls seem to be ok though)

i've read 2 others have said the iron edge version (no longer available) they found the bar bent.....one at 140kg - don't know how reliable those comments were. Little Bloke Fitness has come up with a similar design with 3 handles and the pad's a complete unit - very comfortable. Do you think i should be concerned.

@@danielhewitt8 apologies - i corrected my above statement - the bent comment was meant for the iron edge SSB which is no longer available (your version). Great to hear you're squatting 160kg with no issues !!

My Inspire Unit has cables from both side spread 59 inches (99.06 cm) apart and I wonder if it would come off of the pulleys? I plan to lift heavy.Thoughts? I might need to add another junction for the two pulleys to pass thought before it meet up to the bench. Unless the kit has one? I could'nt see it your video. Thanks you in advance.

As long as you have weight stored on the half rack, it's fine. If there was zero weight on the rack itself and lots of weight on the lever arm, you could flip it.
