What a cool clock

I actually know of (and own) another clock with an outside-mount hour hand, that being the Zonemaster, a very odd and rare electric world time clock from the 1960s with two concentric dials. I think it would be an interesting addition to your collection if you happen to find one!

I was searching whether this table clock is still available or not and came across your video. I have this clock since last 58 years and it's still in daily use except the chrome finish of the outer ring has rusted a little bit.

The dial actually says "Nancy", which is a French city in the eastern part of the country, not toi far from the German and Luxembourgian boarder!

Makes me wonder, since this is an older Urgos movement with the back-mounted hammers and chime barrel, wether it could be possible to replace the spring barrels with weight cable drums...

Another broken spring on this clock? That's sad :/ Maybe you can harvest another mainspring from that Urgos movement you bought for the other clock, if it fits this one's movement.

It's so cute :D The movement looks like an upscaled version of the one in my Bavaria travel alarm clock, but without the alarm bit. I really like the dial layout, just like a pocket watch one, and the case is very lovely despite it's size. By the way, it fits very well with the style of the other clocks near it :)
